Great Skip the line tour of Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze. Very informative and covered all the highlights of the gallery and details on the Statue of David and Michaelangelo. Skipping the line is a must given the long queues otherwise.

We traveled to Florence in late September, a very busy time. It was very helpful to have a tour booked for this experience and our guide did a great job explaining the times in which to style of painting changed over the years leading up to the creation of the statue of David which enhanced the experience. The crowds were crazy and sometime disrespectful, but that’s part of visiting during high season. The tour was about an hour and I would highly recommend it.

the tour guide was nice, but its very busy in this museum. we had ear pieces and everyone was circling the david with their own tour guide and ear piece. a bit hit or miss depending who your guide is, most companies offer similar tours.

Giacomo, our tour guide was knowledgeable and wonderful. He gave us some historical insights to the center of town as we walked to the Academia. He also shared interesting facts regarding art and especially about the statue of David. I liked that it was a small group, it was easier to get around. I highly recommend this event to all.

What an incredible was to spend our last day in Florence! Our guide was fantastic and helped us understand Michaelangelo’s genius as well as the evolution of the art from the gothic to the Renaissance period. Even my teenagers were engaged! I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name as I accidentally deleted my phone note :( but she is from a quiet town between Pisa and Florence and is 29 years old (older than when Michaelangelo carved his David masterpiece-she made a cute joke comparing what she’s done to what he’s accomplished lol)—I hope this is enough to identify her to give her much deserved kudos! Highly recommend…just enough time to get a feel for the small museum and we stayed afterwards to see the rest as we were so inspired by our tour guide. Seeing the very first Stadivarus violin was also a highlight !

This was a great small walking tour, perfect way to get history of the city as you walk to the main attraction. We were a large group and were mixed in with just a few other couples, but still felt like we got a customized experience from our tour guide. She was very informative and was interactive with questions about what we had learned. I left feeling knowledgeable about the history of the statue and all of the background knowledge to go with it.
