Top Cocoa Beach Kayaking Tours

The weather was a bit unpredictable and we received a call from the tour company offering to move our tour to the same day as our scheduled day was going to be stormy. We appreciated their focus on our safety and went a day early. Andrew was an amazing guide and spent the tour sharing his knowledge of the area, the wildlife, while always keeping an eye on the weather. We were able to kayak alongside a pair of dolphins (mom and baby) and were thrilled to float near a pair of manatees as well. One swam right below our kayak. Andrew noticed a couple of puffer fish and showed one to us before sending it on its way. It was so peaceful sharing the sun set with the marine life so close by. We were able to see the bioluminescent plankton once it got dark and enjoyed the quite paddle back to the park. We were so thankful that the tour company was looking ahead and which allowed us to switch our nights and experience this excursion with so much to see. Well done Andrew!

We drove out to Titusville to Haulaway Canal to see the bioluminescence using a glass bottomed kayak, but the trip was SO much more. Our guide, Jorge, said to try to get there early, and we did. We went around the island while the sun set, and listened to birds and saw egrets, ibis, ospreys, herons, flamingos and so many more-even chickens. Then we headed for the canals. The canals were incredible. Just kayaking at night in the mangroves would have been great. But we passed Fred the alligator, held comb jellies, created bioluminescence with our hands and paddles, and did not experience a manatee "rodeo" (haha) for which I was grateful. Jorge was a fountain of knowledge about the unparalleled biodiversity of the area, AND his his day job is working at a job related to one of the launches we saw so he talked to us about that and about the night sky and how starlight is us looking back in time ...just such a multi faceted experience. As we were headed back, a curious dolphin showed up to play. It's a good trip when every single day we think "Wow; it can't get better than this !" The next day, based on our conversations, Jorge alerted us that the booster from the launch was going to be in Port Canaveral, so we saw that, too! Thank you, Jorge for being such an extraordinary guide: we will come back with our family.

Joe was fantastic, the route he took us on was super peaceful. We saw so many manatees and even some dolphins. The best part we’re the mangrove tunnels which are so cool to ride to. Highly recommend Joe and his company to anyone of any age and group number.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour during our vacation and it was amazing. Our tour guide Mathew was so great, he answered all our questions was very knowledgeable about everything we talked about. We both had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again!

Must see near Orlando! Bioluminescence Kayaking at night under a clear sky with an abundance of stars. It is in the middle of a preserve on the Indian River! Brian, our guide, was fun, friendly and full of knowledge. We saw lots of comb jellies and some phytoplankton. We had a view of the Kennedy space Center with Artimus ready for launch! It was so quiet and peaceful! We heard drum fish and saw night herron! No gators(thank you very much) If you have never done this, you definitely need to put it on your bucket list.

What a wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Caleb was absolutely wonderful! He knew so much about the area, and answered all of my silly questions. He made the tour so fun, and relaxing. We did see a few dolphins at the end of the trip, tons of birds (amazing birds I can’t name them all but wow!) no manatees, but I learned that they like warmer water :) so I’ll come back in summer and see them. Definitely recommend. Especially if you’re lucky enough to get Caleb as your guide.

We had an incredible evening with Jess as our guide! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Jess called ahead of time to give us clear directions on where to meet, which made finding the location stress-free. The night itself was spectacular - conditions were ideal for seeing the bioluminescence. Jess was knowledgeable and made sure we knew exactly what to look for. We easily spotted jellyfish glowing in the water, and as an unexpected bonus, we even saw dolphins swimming nearby before we headed back in! Jess also took some amazing photos of our group, which we’ll treasure. She was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. This was a highlight of our Florida trip and something our whole family will remember. We would love to come back in the summer to see the plankton! Great experience to get some gentle exercise on the water (we had little wind resistance on our day) and see the wildlife on the river. We saw a great blue heron and many dolphins on our tour. Our guide (Ian) was very informative and patient with us getting through the mangroves.
