We didn’t see manatees, but we did see a few dolphins that swam close to our group. Our tour guide was great. Very informative and had his funny moments. It was our first time using kayaks, and we found it very enjoyable. This is one thing we will definitely be doing again.

Great experience. My kids and I had the best time. We seen an alligator too. It is worth going on and our tour guide was amazing!

Really good experience with knowledgeable and well-prepared guide.
We really appreciated the extras of water, sunscreen, mosquito repellent.
First class

Stephen and Kate are exceptionally kind humans who take their job of hosting visitors seriously. They are both very knowledgeable about the area animals and history. They’re respectful to wildlife, shutting down the boat when manatee were near and taking every measure to be safe, respectful of Florida residents living in the area, and making sure guests had a great time.

The guide was great. He gave thorough instructions on kayaking. He also explained what to do if there was an accident. I would definitely book with them again.

The guide (Erin) was not friendly at all. She refused to answer questions in a pretty rude tone, and her voice was so soft, no one could hear anything while on the water. She also seemed to just paddle on her own, not waiting for anyone. We were on our own mostly, trying to catch up. The scenery is beautiful, but a tour guide should be friendly and loud by definition.

I enjoy kayaking so being on the water is always a joy, as our tour guide Aerin came off as rude the very start of the adventure witch was paperwork. She would snach the paper from you like she had better things to do then wait for you to hand her the documents but she was full of information when She chose to speak. That being said the guide was silent most the tour. It seemed very prompted almost when she did stop the 2 times she did. She did not check on the any of the kayaking family's. Who fell behind and seemed to be struggling.
We did see wild life witch is always a site to see and enjoyable, i recommend kayaking for all who are considering it but maybe not with Aerin to start. Having the right guide makes such a difference and makes the tour enjoyable or not.

It was a great experience, Dan was very knowledgeable and had a lot of great information. He also was willing to answer questions! Great time!

This is a great kayak tour for everyone. There is plenty of time from when you enter the water to learn how to navigate the kayak if you have never been in one before. I had an 8 year old in the front of the tandem kayak just along for the tour and had no problems maneuvering the kayak by myself. Dan the tour guide was great and answered any and all questions that we had

Lot’s of wildlife, dolphins at play, mosquitoes in the mangroves, easy paddle. Tour guide was not acknowledging any questions and if she did she did, she was short with a response.

It was a fun paddling day. We got to see manatees, pelicans and I had a dolphin swim right under me. Erin and Ethan did a great job.
Tiffany_V, May 2026
You’re guided through mangrove river and tunnels and it is very much a guided tour not a constant tour. There are some moments the tour guide will explain things otherwise you’re pretty much constantly kayaking through and around the area. It’s beautiful and the wildlife and views are abundant. Definitely not a super interactive tour but the whole point is to see the preserve and the wildlife! Sunscreen your legs big time, it gets very sunny and hot.

It’s was a beautiful day, we saw manatees, the wild birds, flying fish, no dolphins but you can control the wild life. Our tour guide was very nice and very helpful. I would 10/10 do it again

While the mangroves were super awesome and we were able to see dolphins, jumping fish, and pelicans…our guide was honestly disappointing. As soon as we arrived the interactions with her were very strange and she didn’t ever seem to want to answer our questions. She did a good job finding wildlife and had a lot of facts, but she spoke so quietly it was almost impossible to hear her. It wasn’t the upbeat experience we were hoping for.
Christopher_W, Mar 2026
The mangrove was lovely. We were all experienced kayakers and liked the water experience, although this day we saw little wildlife. 3 in our party and 3 others. We’d had one excellent prior experience with a terrific guide. This one was terrible! She never introduced herself, did not look at us as she droned on in a whisper with very tight instructions of dos and don’ts. The tour was 45 minutes late leaving. When asked a question she did not acknowledge us. No personality or awareness of people to be in this position. The others also said she took any fun out of it. I am sorry to report this.

Outfitter was Cocoa Beach X Y.
Just 2 hours of paddling.
Guide spoke in quiet monotone that only kayak closest could ever hear.
No water or sunscreen offered as advertised.
Just a waste of time. Would have been better just renting kayaks.
Tami_H, Mar 2026
Our tour guide was knowledgeable but was very quiet and you could not hear anything she was saying. Was not super friendly or personable. We did get to see one dolphin. The tour was pretty relaxed.
Linda_G, Feb 2026
Erin was our guide and did a very good job in showing, sharing, and explaining all the beautiful mangroves, wildlife, and creatures that inhabit the area. We used single kayaks for the tour, and it is so much easier to navigate through the tight mangroves. Would definitely do this again!
Lacey_L, Feb 2026
Not a single dolphin or manatee on this tour. Going in the tree tunnels was a unique experience but not what we were looking for.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Hello Lacey, we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your tour. Unfortunately, when dealing with wild animals we’re not always lucky enough to stumble upon them. We hope you give us another try to have another opportunity of spotting our marine mammals. Thanks!
Anthony_A, Feb 2026
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t wind up seeing any dolphins or manatees, but the kayaking was great and a lot of fun! Great to be outdoors!
Robert_P, Feb 2026
Erin was knowledgeable and patient with us first timers.
She kept is informed about our surroundings.
Jim_S, Feb 2026
We have only kayaked a couple of times previously but this was an enjoyable experience and a good physical workout. It includes some open water rowing but also some interesting maneuvering through mangrove trees. We saw dolphins and a variety of birds but no manatee. Our guide gave kayaking instructions before we got into our kayak. She seemed quite knowledgeable about the area but spoke in
an “indoor” voice which was hard for us to hear. But it. Is a nature preserve so one doesn’t want to disturb the wild life with loud noise I guess,
Tracy_G, Jan 2026
It was a great trip. We would go back again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke the appropriate amount. Not too chatty like some tour guides.
Megan_G, Jan 2026
We didn’t see any manatees but did see a dolphin. It was fun going through the different mangrove canals. The only issue was our guide was very knowledgeable, but spoke so softly we could hardly hear her. Even when we asked her to speak up or repeat things it was a very hard to hear so unfortunately, we missed almost everything she had to say.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
We’re sorry you couldn’t hear your guide. We will mention this to all of our guides. Thanks for coming!
Ebonee_D, Dec 2025
They give you wet bags and have water for you! Great for beginners but they are some difficult spot where some people took there paddles apart to get threw tight spots
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thanks for coming! Glad it’s worth the experience!
Matthew_T, Nov 2025
Didn't see many marine animals but they are wild animals and that can't be helped. Our guide was great! He was very knowledgeable, knew the area, and what he was doing It was a lot of fun!
Jacqueline_P, Oct 2025
This was so fun. Cam was the best. My son got a bit frustrated and he really helped him out. The tunnels through the mangroves was the best!! Definitely recommend!

We had a great time on our tour with Erin. Our group couldn’t stop talking about how awesome it was, and how knowledgeable she is!! Very professional, but had a comedic touch that was perfect.
Heather_P, Jun 2025
Great time. Cameron told us a lot of information about the dolphins and the manatee. He was a great tour guide.
Haydn_Z, May 2025
