A chance to step away from the average

What an amazing experience. Sam and Ho’omalu were amazing guides and educators about the work the farm is trying to do to engage in sustainable and regenerative practices. Opening up their little piece of heaven to allow us a chance to experience it and to have a little fun to boot is a joy. We went during the time when the islands were dealing with period of heavy rain so it made the experience more “adventury” in other words I walked away drenched. Loved it. Loved what they are doing and would do it again.

We were unable to do Volcanoes National Park due to weather but our tour guide Robert gave alternative activities that made the day a little less disappointing. He is extremely knowledgeable about many different areas. He created an enjoyable experience in the midst of a difficult situation.

Unimaginably amazing experience!

I couldn’t believe the majesty and grace of these huge creatures! Great crew, equipment, and operation. Check in was efficient, meet up was easy, boat ride was quick, and manta rays arrived quickly. Although we were only in the water about 30 min, it seemed like much longer. I’d go again in a heartbeat!!

Food fun and discovery !

Francesca led a really enjoyable tour of Dublin where we stopped for native edibles along the way. We were schooled in making Irish coffee, ate sausage pastries, sampled cheeses, a couple of yummy baked goods, sampled oysters, ate Irish stew and fish chowder for lunch and then landed in an ice cream shop to sample potato ice cream and indulge in a cup of our choice. Lots of history and anecdotes along the way. A beautiful day and quite an adventure !

Insane/amazing experience

We did the 9pm tour. The boat ride out everything is pitch black and the ocean was super choppy! It’s a good 20 min boat ride out.. getting into the water was easy for us. My kids (10&12) easily got down the stairs into the water. We were very close to one another on the board and waited about 5 min to see the first ray. The shocking part at first was there are sharks all under you. The guide assured us they were harmless. About 5 sharks that we could see stayed low but they were there.. that kind of freaked me out. The rays are absolutely beautiful, huge and an amazing experience. Some of our guests on the tour (and my husband) did get stung by jelly fish— but that can happen anytime you get into the ocean. We brought sweatshirts and sweat pants for the ride home and weren’t chilly at all. The guides make it fun and explain things the whole way. 10/10 experience through it all

Epic night!

Epic manta ray experience in Kona! We had about 10 mantas gliding beneath us - it was truly surreal. The tour was about an hour in total with ~20 minutes in the water, which felt perfect. Easy check-in (bathroom at the docks, storage available - note you must be swim ready when loading in onto the boat). The crew was fantastic and Peyton was so welcoming. Highly recommend!

It was a great day packed with sights and information. We loved having Big Mike show us pridefully the community he grew up in. A good overview of local culture and history. Big Mike is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He’s the unofficial mayor of Hilo! Seems to know someone at every corner. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a great tour. The volcano wasn’t as active as we had hoped but the pilot, Andrew, did a great job describing what we were seeing along with giving a description and history of everything we saw from the volcano to the waterfalls. He also answered any and all questions.
