Wow! What a majestic experience!

the guide was a tremendous. the road up to the telescopes is bumpy. Be prepared to have supplemental oxygen for the elderly;y and those wet don't do well with elavaatiion. The best thing was when it was dark enough tojo see the Milky Way my wife hugged me and said " thank you for bringing me here, I have never been able to see it! Her smile and hug meant every7thingh yo me.

The best!

Wow! What an amazing day! We would never have gotten nearly as much out of our time at Volcano had we hiked out on our own. Our guide John was the best…kind, knowledgeable, and so patient with a very inquisitive 12 year old. He has immense knowledge of cultural history, geology and botany. Wish we could have had more time and learned even more from John. Highly recommend! Great communication during a during an uncertain time and they even gave us a heads up the day before our schedule tour that an eruption had started so we could get to the area earlier.

A must do! Top notch!

This was one the best highlights of our trip!!! Spot on!!! The crew and captian were amazing. Everything was handled with care and pride. The food was great the location was one of my favorites. As an example of the service, my daughter loves pineapple juice and mentioned it to one of the crew ( it kinda a running joke with my kid, she has done this on past trips and now its how she judges a place lol). Her cup was never less than 1/2 full, They crew would see her and ask if she needed more. Again just top notch service!! They had all the snorkling gear you could need or want. Toys and slides for the kids. Everything was taken care of. We even saw some dolphins and the captin stopped the boat so people could watch and take pictures. Just a perfect day. Nothing could have been done better. 1000% recommend!

Definitely worth going! Amazing crew!

My sister and I were so scared to go on this but Captain Kris and Elio (?) were amazing. They were very knowledgeable about the area and there were so many manta rays. They did say sometimes it’s rare to see none but we were lucky enough to not have that happen to us! They also gave us snacks at the end and drinks. They were incredibly kind and I highly recommend this to everyone. The small boat is perfect and I didn’t get sea sick. I would definitely tell you to go on this!!! Thank you again to Captain Kris!

The legends and...

The legends and traditions of the Big Island really came alive thanks to the great narration. And the meal was way better than expected for a cruise like this. The very comfortable boat itself was clearly designed specifically for dinner cruises. A great, romantic or just educational cruise.

One of the larger boats...

One of the larger boats but with sufficiently staffed. The boat does rock so if prone to motion sickness consider medication before leaving. Crew was attentive and supportive of novice swimmers. This was the fourth time we’ve been snorkeling in Hawai’i. my family, including 11 and 9 year olds have voted this their all time favorite.

Amazing Submarine Experience!

We had a fantastic submarine tour! The crew was friendly, professional, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. It was amazing to see the underwater world up close, with colorful fish, coral, and even a small shark. The tour was well organized, informative, and unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

All levels of experience and fitness

There were two snorkeling spots; first was a little more challenging but gave you confidence to enjoy second spot that provided more to see and enjoy. Good and plentiful equipment provided. What was most helpful for this 71 year old was steps leading into water, and back into boat. This is worth price alone. Boat had roomy and well-equipped bathrooms, also a plus. Food was okay, and sufficient for needs. The snorkeling was absolutely wonderful. Guides were friendly and helpful. Perfect, PERFECT experience for all levels. Highly recommend

Neat experience! Requires a very short ocean swim, then just float while hanging on to a board watching the rays!

This was so much fun. I know how to swim but am nervous in deep water and ocean currents, and some of the other tour companies made it seem like this was going to be a big deal. The tour was easy, though, because you only have to swim about 20 feet while holding a flotation device, and then you hold onto ropes attached to a surfboard for the rest of the time (about 30 minutes), which the floatie holding up your feet. You should know how to snorkel, though, because there is no instruction. The guide is lifeguard certified and I believe the max number of customers on the boat is 18. We saw tons of rays and some were really, really close to us! They are large and impressive. The guide share facts about the rays, but if you are are not close to his end of the surfboard you can't really hear the info. It was a really neat experience and not intimidating as long as you are comfortable getting into the water from a boat and doing a short ocean swim.
