This was awesome. Perfectly timed as you drove through the park. Alot of great informationIabout the history of the park. We will definitely use them again for our next tour
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Heather, thank you for taking my Saguaro National Park self-guided driving audio tour! I’m so glad the timing worked perfectly as you drove through the park and that the history and stories made the experience even better. My audio tours are valid forever and work offline once downloaded, so you can enjoy the same flexibility and convenience on a future visit. Happy exploring!
Lans_R, Dec 2025
Once we got the hang of how it works, it was great. It's not all that obvious about where the tour starts, especially if there is no landmark. We were driving to the starting point and it just started on its own. Narrations pop in whenever you cross a "bubble" boundary.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Lans, great to hear you found my Saguaro National Park Driving Audio Tour smooth and informative once it clicked. Yes, the audio narration started automatically as you drove and reached the attraction. I appreciate the note that the starting point wasn't obvious at first—was there a specific spot or moment when clearer guidance would have been helpful? If you're ready for more adventures at your own pace, check out my Tour of 30+ National Parks, featuring engaging audio guides at parks like Arizona tours, including Mount Lemmon, Sedona, and more. Happy exploring!

This tour with ActionTourGuide had some problems and did not work well for us. I was able to download the tour and start it just fine. However, there were multiple times when the narrator would simply start talking from my phone for no reason at all when we were in a visitor center or out hiking. He is only supposed to speak when we are driving and go across a specific location. When he did start speaking, the recording almost always cut off the beginning 5 seconds and the ending 5 seconds of what he was saying, so we did not get his full talk. This guide did not have a good map showing where we were in relation to driving and stops. This guide was very limited as to recommending or talking about hikes, museums and other attractions in the nearby area. When he did give information, it was sometimes wrong. There was one short hike that was 0.3 mile and took about 10 minutes; he said it was 2 1/2 miles and would take 45-60 minutes. That’s quite a difference! I have used other guides in the past and they work much better. I will not use ActionTourGuide again. I recommend GuideAlong.
Response from Host, May 2025
Lisa, my tour does have stories at popular stop-off locations like the VC and a couple top trailheads. These are visible as pins on the map. The 5-seconds cut-off is due to your car’s Bluetooth hardware — solvable by using a USB or playing the audio through the phone instead. I’ve mentioned this in my Help/FAQ and am always available to help over call/chat/emails too (9-6 everyday including holidays). I’d still like to make this right, whether assisting with setting up a future visit, offering a replacement, or processing a refund. Let me know what works best. I’ll also clarify the trail info for those looking for shorter hikes.

The self guided tour is easy to follow. The narration is spot on. Many places to stop and see the sites. Some of the roadway is not paved. Overall very enjoyable.

The audio tour is great; it guides us to the most popular scenic drive in the park. The GPS is accurate, the audio plays automatically when we hit a viewpoint. However, the audio is incomplete; it abruptly ends before narrating the entire story.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Jun, I’m glad you enjoyed my Saguaro National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour and found the GPS accuracy and automatic audio triggers helpful. I loved that you appreciated the guidance through the park’s most scenic drives. About the audio cutting off, this usually happens when the speed limit isn’t followed exactly—sticking to the speed limit ensures the stories align perfectly and play without interruptions. I hope you’ll give it another go and enjoy the complete experience. Safe travels!
