A hot air balloon ride is a magnificent way to take in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. We float 2,000 to 5,000 feet over the desert to enjoy unobstructed views and the peace of floating quietly through the air. Following your 45-60 minute flight, guests are invited to partake in a champagne toast and continental breakfast in the heart of the desert.

They would definitely need more stars to accurately reflect our sunrise adventure! Captain Jonathan and crew Alex, Anthony & Josh gave us a most spectacular balloon ride directly over Tucson's surrounding peaks just as the sun rose, lighting up the mountains as we gently floated with the breeze. Our landing was perfectly smooth and we had a great time chatting with the cotton farmers who owned the land. A light breakfast, champagne and certificates rounded up a truly beautiful experience. I'd absolutely recommend Hot Air Expeditions for this bucket list flight!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish! Jonathon was our pilot: witty, informative, competent, and kept the entire experience fun and engaging. Marcus and the ground crew were super helpful and kind; they made sure we knew exactly where we were supposed to be, and I can’t say enough good things about them.

Jonathan Wright & his chaser are a great team! This was our first balloon ride—it was peaceful, informative & enjoyable—and you cant beat the sunrise view from 5000 feet!

The crew and captain were professional, totally competent, and just a blast to be around. In the air there were was plenty to see and hear as we floated alone serenely.
My partner and I both have a fear of heights, but were totally at ease throughout the ride. Since the ride was early in the morning, and fields in the Marana have little or none of the cacti of nearby Tucson, the temperature was nice and our captain had no problems finding a landing site.
