Ari was a wonderful wrangler. Warm, informative and welcoming! Had a great time, the vistas are unbeatable and the grounds are lovely- I walked around after. A real gem. My horse Pearl, was great too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cool morning ride in the desert. Our guide Evie was wonderful. We had a small group with 5 people. Good horses and a beautiful ranch site. We walked around after the ride to look at the historic buildings.

My husband and I booked this excursion in October 2025. We enjoyed It so much we knew we needed to take our daughter and grandson when they visited. We all loved it! Of course my 13 yo grandson was nervous at the very beginning but was comfortable after 5 minutes on the trail.

Overall, this was a pleasant experience. I just wish I had brought my bandana to cover my face when the dust was blowing at me, which happened often.
Ari, our guide was friendly and helpful. She texted early that morning before our ride.
We didn't start our 9:00 ride until after 9:20. It was about a 90-minute ride. We were VERY happy to do the first ride with our heat.
I had written the tour director twice. It took a few days to receive a response to my first message, and I never did receive a response to my second question. I wish the turn off rode had a sign on Oracle Road. It would have been a bit more helpful.

A meditative horse ride. There were 3 of us, including the guide, and followed a dirt -sand trail for 90 minutes. Once we rode to a higher elevation it was pretty. Don't expect any trotting etc. No surprises.

I'm visiting AZ and wanted to try a horseback ride for the first time. This was very enjoyable and just what I was hoping for! Ari was an excellent guide, super friendly and knowledgeable, and Chuck (my horse) was gentle and easy to ride. I'd definitely recommend this experience and I'm likely to come back again next year.

Fabulous scenery on a picture perfect day! Ava made us feel safe while having lots if fun and conversation! Beautiful way to experience the environment and views. Horses were great too!

Aspen and Cody were fantastic trail guides! As luck would have it, we were the only two in the group. It was a very easy, relaxing trail ride. My horse, Tony, was my buddy! Such a good boy! We would definitely recommend this trip!

Ari was very knowledgeable with the horses and we felt comfortable under her lead. The horses were well trained and we were able to ride with little to no horse riding experience. Beautiful scenery and felt like the experience was well worth the price paid.

2 hours of the same scenery is way too long. The guides have no narrative throughout the tour. I don’t think love the place or their job very much.

Well, I got Ricky.Bobby which by the way my name is Bobbi but that boy was so big, probably the biggest in the group but the most gentle. I brought up the rear but felt so comfortable and relaxed. Jason and Aspen are the best. They helped me off the horse while my friend fell, hee hee, but I didn't get to see it. Again, a must. I am from Chicago and the weather and landscape were phenomenal.

Wear a hair cover and glasses! One hr is more than enough!
Cons: you get way dirtier than you should, the saddles are extremely dirty, they don’t appear to ever clean them. The trail is way to dusty, if you have allergies this tour isn’t for you! You ride through nothing but dust and dirt. They need a better trail!

Lovely ride. Very slow, nothing wild, beautiful scenery. My 9 y/o and I had a great time. Optional helmets, saddle bags available for your water bottle. Wear a hat!

We love horseback riding when we are on vacation. So we are still beginners. Our tour guide was very sensitive to our needs and we took the horses on a 2 hour walk which was just perfect! The trail through the park was beautiful. The horses were very gentle and responded well to us.

Lucy was a great wrangler & Maple was an awesome animal. The scenery was right out of a movie set: mountains, blue skies & sunshine! The perfect way to spend a couple of hours!

The drive into the ranch is a long dirt road with lots of rocks and gravel and is best not driven on just any tires or vehicle make sure you come equipped to drive in. Secondly, the energy spent in being informative and building confidence and trust in the instructors and animals is slim to none, so if you are beginner there is about 4 minutes of instruction made available for you to operate your 800 pound horse. I did try to voice my concerns and was met by condescending tones and replies from the lead instructor so that further did not help me feel equipped or confident in being on the horse. I think this is a great concept but there can be some more time spent in building a relationship with the guest, making them feel safe, welcome, confident and trusting of their instructors and experience. Ultimately my partner and I did leave and were not able to do the ride because I did not feel safe or knowledgeable about what was happening. To each there own but it was not beginner friendly in my opinion

It was really nice, informative, really long, was a nice and chill horse ride. I'm from a big city so can see someone wanting a faster pace but it was totally the Arizona vibe! Loved it.
