Derek was an outstanding guide! He shared knowledge of the plants, animals, and historical geography throughout the hike. He was so easy to talk with and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect! I am so glad we went this route instead of just hiking ourselves. Worth every penny spent.

Fantastic hike

Kevin_H, Jul 2025
This hike was perfect for beginners and intermediates, especially since we didn’t have much time. Lochlan was an excellent guide, and both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Amazing tour! Al was super friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience memorable and personable. She was attentive to the needs of the group and made sure to give us plenty of time to take pictures along the way!

Five star glacier hike!

Pennelyn_H, Sep 2024
The hike was really fun and the views were spectacular! Coen( sp) was amazing !! He was knowledgeable and professional and so accommodating! The pick up and drop off were really nice as he came right to our VRBO! I rate this experience as a five star plus!! Thank you!!

Excellent Hike!

Debra_S, Aug 2024
The guide and her knowledge of the environment on our hike was fantastic. She based the hike on where I wanted to go (rougher trail and in the mountains) which was excellent.

Beautiful Glacier

Brett_E, Aug 2024
Our guide Tatum made the hike so special. It may be the highlight of our trip. She was very knowledgeable and just an all around great person you will enjoy spending the day with.

Do this hike on your own…

Sharon_W, Aug 2024
Tatum was awesome and I would give her 5 stars. The reason I score it a 3 is that the posting wasn’t clear on the rocky conditions that you encounter on this hike to the glacier. There is a less strenuous hike that is offered but you have to tell them as the options aren’t clear when you sign up; it just says 4 hours. I can walk on a 5-10 degree grade all day but not crawling up stair step rocks for 4 hours! We had fun- made it to a small waterfall then came back down.

Easy hike

Maria_E, Aug 2024
It was an easy hike, we we expecting more and was a rainy day, so we couldn’t see much. The guide was very nice and avalible.

Not what was expected

Barbara_H, Jul 2024
The trail was beautiful and Tatum was a great guide but we paid for a 4-Hour tour. We had a total of a two-hour hike plus about 10 to 15 minutes drive time. Quite a bit less than we expected and what we paid for

Great rugged hike with amazing views!

Deena_H, Jun 2024
Beautiful views! Trail was a bit more rugged than expected. I would encourage walking sticks for all to help with catching yourself and using it for leverage with those more tricky steps. So glad we were able to take in this experience!

Beautiful hike and great guide!

Lorelei_N, Jun 2024
Our guide “Al” was personable and knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, glaciers , etc. We had a perfect hile to Exit Glacier and great pics! Spotting a bear on the way out was a bonus for sure!

A wonderful experience

Douglas_A, Sep 2023
The guide was excellent. We ran into a bear right away and she had us slowly get behind her and she stayed calm and the bear just lumbered off. We were glad to have an experienced guide at that point! One of our family members has down syndrome and she adjusted the hike to meet his abilities and kept encouraging him.

Easy Fun and Informing

We enjoy the views of Exit Glacier from very close, was an awesome trip day. Miles was a great guide, he understood our needs and adapted the trip to us

We ventured in areas we never would have gone

Amy_L, Aug 2023
We had a wonderful experience with Travis on our wilderness hike. Travis was very knowledgeable and was able to share so much interesting information about the area’s plants, glaciers, rocks, wildlife, etc. We went on areas of the trail we never would have ventured, and the money was well worth it. I highly recommend this tour and this company for your adventures in and around Seward.

I highly recommend miles and the team for a great hike !

David_S, Aug 2023
Miles was amazing , friendly, and gave us a day we will never forget ! We were able to see the glacier up close.

Great way to explore Exit Glacier

Michael_P, Jul 2023
Hiking up near the glacier was awesome! Learned a lot about glaciers. Only downside was our guide took some great pics with his camera but we have to sort through too many pictures on the website to get ours.

Hike to Exit Glacier/Seward Wilderness Hiking

Lindee_L, Jul 2023
Loved the hike!!! Beautiful country and great view of Exit glacier!! Hike was not too difficult and was super fun having a knowledgeable guide lead us. Our guide knew so much about the glacier mountains and the vegetation!!! Totally worth paying for a guided hike!! We were able to choose what we wanted to see and how far we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend this to visitors in Seward.

Exit Glacier Hike

Martha_M, Jul 2023
Myles was our fascinating & knowledgeable guide to the Exit Glacier. He was very enjoyable & enthusiastic about this area of Alaska, sharing information of the forest, fauna as well as the glaciers we were able to see on the perfect day we had. Highly recommend!

My Marathon hiking trip totally worth it!

JoelBeth_N, Jul 2023
Miles was a great guide. Truly enjoyed our Mt. Marathon hiking trip got to see a Moose about 100 ft away. Walked over creeks and through forest. Some of it was a little steep but totally doable
