Fine for walking but we needed a driving tour. We got lost in the city several times and had to retrace our "steps". Clearly this was a bad choice for us. Somehow I was charged for a second tour so I need info for a refund on that tour.

Was traveling solo. Was able to do the tour on my own pace. Once in a while I listed to some of the trolley tours and would say that I much preferred the knowledge of this self guided tour as opposed to the jokes and generalized information I heard from some tour guides.

Not very engaging, technology not as good as other apps for knowing where you are. Basically just covers the squares/monuments along Bull.

Thought this would be a driving tour around to see and hear about the homes in Savannah. It's not that at all.

Reserving and downloading the right one wasn't as quick and easy as it should be. They need to simplify this so you aren't wading through all the choices trying to find the right one and with a simple download button.

It was really hard to keep up with what was being said on the locations. A great deal of personal information from the speaker that could have been minimized.
I ended up shutting it off after the first location, used a map and enjoyed the locations much more.
Honestly, would not recommend.

Is this review based purely on listening to the audio of the first location? It's common for tour producers/publishers to introduce themselves and share personal insights about the tour they've published. Our tours are produced by insightful locals and storytellers, and their establishing a human connection in the beginning is a key part of the experience. I expect that if you'd listened to more than just the first location you would have enjoyed more destination-focused content.

The place where Forrest Gump was filmed was great. The squares are lovely, its a great walk. The audio is easy to follow and generally quite interesting

The gardens were lovely, the squirrels were adorable and not afraid. My husband and I learned more about the locations and homes from reading the plaques and google than we did from the audio tour. The voices used were to mechanical, not informative, and very short.

This was an easy, convenient tour, and we learned a lot about an easily walkable, small section of Savannah. We particularly liked hearing the history about each of the green spaces (squares), and the history associated with each monument.

Because rain was unpredictable, we chose this tour and drove the route. Having lived here years ago, we knew some of the history, but learned a bit more on this tour. We also know there is much more history than the straight route of this tour and wish there were more options for tours like this.

Once you get used to the app, this audio tour works pretty well. You can go at your own pace and pause it at any time. This particular tour was somewhat limited. But I loved the concept. I would definitely try something like this again.

The facts shared were very interesting however the timing of the delivery is very tough. Some people walk slower, some faster, it felt like we were waiting for the host to speak for way too long. After 15 minutes we turned it off. I still have this a 3 rating as it could just be our speed was misaligned.

I chose this tour because was only in Savannah one day and had time constraints so liked that you could do this tour at your own convenience. It takes you through the center squares of the historic district highlighting many attractions and historical background. The narrator’s voice was clear & pleasant, the tour kept the whole family’s interest. Would definitely recommend.
