We were really looking forward to visiting Bonaventure cemetery and having the experience on Segways with Neil as our guide made it even better! Neil provides a safe experience with the Segways especially for beginners. He provided several stops during the tour to provide interesting history and facts about the cemetery. I highly recommend this experience. It has been the highlight of our trip to Savannah!

Comfortable shoes, bring your own helmet if you have one (they also provide one if needed). Sunglasses were nice to have on hand.

Great tour guide and great way to view the cemetery. Would have given 5 stars but the tour guide was 45 minutes late without any advance warning. I had to call the office and they informed me they were running late. Description in Viatar said they provided transportation from downtown Savannah but they don’t so had to arrange our own transportation.

Segway was fun and not too difficult to ride. Had never ridden a Segway before. I enjoy hearing the life stories of the people who once lived in Savannah. Savannah has such a rich history with fascinating characters.

This was the best tour we did in Savannah! Our tour guide, Neil, was very knowledgeable and personable. We had never been on segways before but we watched the Segway safety video prior to coming and it only took us about 2 minutes to learn how to use them. We saw so much of the cemetery and learned a ton of history and interesting stories in only about an hour. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get Neil as your guide!

This is a great way to get around and see Bonaventure Cemetery. The cemetery is huge and walking it in the heat is not fun. The segways are a great solution to that.
Our tour guide was excellent! He gave great instructions and made sure we were comfortable on the segways before starting.

Our tour guide Carolyn was amazing. We loved her. It was like taking the tour with an old friend. She was very informative on all things cemetery symbolism and art and history. I should add that I have limited range of motion due to a rod in my spine and hardware in my left knee and ankle and hip causing me to also be a bit off balance sometimes but Carolyn was outstanding to offer a bicycle option if I wasn't able to ride the segway..but to my surprise the Segway was SUPER EASY to navigate all over the cemetery even with my half broken body parts...and we are so GLAD we did not try to do a walking tour of the cemetery as it was just tooooo big to navigate on foot without being 4 hours long and exhausting. Seriously, I can not recommend the Segway Cemetery tour enough and Carolyn too. Whether you are fat or skinny, old or young, broken or well..you will have no problem operating the segway or navigating the tour.

This was such a great experience!!! My wife and I had never ridden segways before, but it truly is so easy to get used to them! They are also really fun!! Neither of us wanted to get off when it was over!
As for the tour itself: it was wonderful! Bonaventure Cemetery is huge, so segways make it fun, and you don’t get as tired as if you walk. Our guide, Neil, was fantastic!!! He knew so much about the cemetery, and it was clear that he has spent a lot of time researching these things on his own. I learned so much about tombstones and we got some really great stories along the way! Thank you Neil!!!
I highly recommend this tour!!! My only word of warning to you: the tour started late because they were picking up some guests. Also, it was longer than 90 minutes. We finished at noon, so just don’t make plans too close to the tour, and you will have an amazing time!

We took this tour in Savannah's Bonaventure Cemetery as we wanted to see Mercer's grave and the historic cemetery but not walk. It was a great experience and we learned a lot from our tour guide, Carolyn. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable allowing us to step off of the seg way for a break and also going beyond the time to be sure she covered all of the interesting things to see in the cemetery.

Excellent guide, beautiful weather, detailed explanations of cemetery highlights, stories of individuals buried there, just an all round great experience. Guide was very cautious, explained the workings of the Segway machines and continually made sure all the guests were safe and comfortable. Would do this again in an instant.
