Our tour guide Matt was amazing and made the entire tour much better. The pace was good and there was a lot of interesting history as well as the usual things. Would highly recommend!
Awesome way to learn alot about the history of San Antonio. Along with why certain places have sitings of ghostly things.

We went on this tour as part of a high school trip with 5 students. It was fun, the kids loved it - every stop they were convinced they saw a ghost. The stories themselves were interesting bringing some personality to the buildings. Ghosts aside, the walk around the city was amazing too!

It’s a walking tour. Lots of detailed history with photos and info about the departed who still roam around the rooms and buildings. It was my partner’s favorite event of the weekend.

I enjoyed this walking tour in San Antonio. As a traveler, I would have assumed there would be many more ghost stories/experiences in the area that we walked. If nothing else, we definitely got our exercise in. I would recommend doing the tour if you want to experience the city in a different manner. It was pretty cool to do this ghost tour and then the next day, do a daytime tour of the Riverwalk. We saw some of the same places, but learned a lighter side of them.
Blake is a great storyteller. I would go on additional tours (of different areas) with him.

Educational and entertaining. Guide was pleasant, polite and engaging. Wish we would've been able to take a tour after dark to avoid sun glare.

It was a lot of walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Use a cane if you have feet, knee or hip issues. Blake was very knowledgeable about San Antonio history.

Main tour guide wasn't there so his replacement was called in. She made it clear that we knew she didn't do night ghost tours and that we wouldn't see, hear or feel any spirits. Also stated she was there for extra cash and to get away from her husband as not to annoy him. We left halfway through the tour just after another couple did the same. This is the second ghost tour I've been on in San Antonio and would recommend RJA.

planning to do this tour during the largest event in SA was not a good plan. As a tour company you should have realized that.
The tour guide tried his best but trying to hear over the din of the spectators of the parade was next to impossible. We had to fight our way through hundreds of people and closed roads.
You as a company should have planned better.
Disappointed.

Blake had a small and unenergetic group to work with, though my wife and I tried to bring some energy. The "haunted sites" on this tour weren't much to work with either, though Blake tried to make them spookier with some historical pictures on his ipad and some stories of hauntings. It was OK, might have been better with a bigger, more invested group. Would recommend if you'd like a guided stroll around the city at night.

We had an annoying guest on our tour who was disruptive the whole time. The tour guide was aware, but ignored it, which ruined the experience for us, plus the rest of the group (after conversing with them later). The tour guide also kept getting distracted by other tour companies around us and would make us wait a while before he spoke (he even skipped a site) instead of moving away to speak, and at a couple sites, he only spoke briefly. I overheard other tour companies giving much more history and info, even about non ghost stuff. Also, at the start, he did a bathroom call and then about 20 minutes in, he did another one and the "annoying guest" went into the spot and was there for like 10-15 minutes. Our guide just had us stand there and wait, no fun facts or anything about the area given; the guide should have backup things to talk about. He finally decided to move on, as the guest's party agreed to wait for him, but then after seeing there were other tour groups at the next site, instead of just telling us the history a bit away from the site, our guide just stopped talking, so we started taking pics, and then he disappeared. Turns out, he was in line at a vendor as the rest of us just stood around. He finally returned to us after a while and then said, "By the way, this is a good place to grab a snack if you want one", so then we had to wait longer. We arrived at our last place and it was not the donut shop because our guide wanted to give us the chance to go into the haunted hotel on our own, since he couldn't take us, but that should have been communicated to us at the beginning. I looked at the time and the experience was NOT 1.5 hours, as the ad indicated, but about 45 minutes with all those distractions. The saving points are our guide was funny and he showed us photos of the sites before they were converted into what they are now. Our guide also spoke fast, stringing his words together and making it hard to follow. Please fix all the communication issues!

Wanted more places and ghost stories. Ended tour at Alamo but no ghost stories there. Unfortunately didn’t feel it was the “ultimate “ ghost tour. Had better in other cities. Guide was very personable and a good storyteller.
