This is a good way to get around the city abd visit various areas on your own. The trolley driver was very knowledgeable of the city's history. Friendly and very funny.
This is the first time I have been disappointed with the hop on hop off tour. I have taken this all over the world. It is very challenging to find the pick up drop off stops. The tour guides I “LOVED” them, I wish I could remember their name! They were all knowledgeable of the history and wow!! They are passionate about San Antonio! I highly recommend this activity. If you visit during the summer I highly recommend lots of water!!
The stops are very good. Places where you want to explore a little more. The Market Place, the Alamo, Japanese Gardens, the San Antonio Zoo etc. all these places are good to spend extra time visiting.
I liked that the entire route without getting off was just under 2 hours. However, There is no air condition for the travelers on this trolley. It is open windows. It is best to pick a day where the weather is not above 100 degrees, unless you like it hot.
Overall, I enjoyed this experience and would definitely do it again and I highly recommend it to travelers in San Antonio that want to see something other than the Riverwalk.
It was very convenient and really showed you San Antonio. However, it was very difficult to hear driver over traffic noise and people talking on the trolly. There needs to be better speaker system and/or headsets available.

I purchased 2 tickets for my aunt and uncle who came down to San Antonio from Michigan. They really enjoyed the tour. They said it was one of the best things they experienced in San Antonio. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and shared the history of our beautiful city.
All drivers were kind and provided lots of cool historical factors. We got to see and stop by different sites in San Antonio and had a wonderful time. Thank you!
I've taken HOP ON HOP OFF in a lot of cities, US and International. This one was really good. Hostess/Driver was KAITLYN. She was very sweet and very knowledgeable about San Antonio, the history and details of San Antonio history was impressive. I was not expecting that much "history". I also didn't realize San Antonio is 4th largest population in the U.S. I rode the entire route once and then got off at the ZOO to spend the morning. Glad, it got really HOT and I went back to my hotel. Later took the River Boat tour on Riverwalk.
This was an Awesome San Antonio Texas Experience. Alfonso was full of history as he shared so much information. I appreciate the name of the stops and what's expected to check out. I'm visiting for 5 days and my main transportation is the hop on hop off bus.
Natalia, Alonso and Mo were all very personable and knowledgeable. We usually take one of these tours to decide what spots we want to check out further. This tour is perfect to check out a lot of the city!
If your just interested in exploring the city, the bus drops off at 13 different locations. The drop off/on location is given to you via link in your text messages the day before and has pictures where you should wait. If you want to go to Pearl District for example, jump on the bus and catch it before the last bus or its a hour walk back.
Very good experience to see the city and learn about the history of San Antonio. Hop on and off to see alot of downtown.
The hop on hop off trolley tour was very fun and informative .. we didn’t just have to sit there while we ride.. the driver was full of stories and helpful hints about San Antonio and the places we passed and stopped .. was definitely worth riding with y’all.

It was a good experience to explore the city and learn more about it. People were nice and had fun. Driving was good and like the breeze.
Excellent way to get an overview of a new city. The driver/guide changed with each hop on and they were all different.
No street signs for trolley so the exact stops were hard to find. The website was difficult to use and I never got my ticket. I got the receipt showing the confirmation. I had difficulty understanding the driver’s remarks. The online map covered up some street names , adding more difficulty to finding the locations of the stops.
Very informative and interesting tour. Rudy was a great guide. Wish we took the early tour to spend time at the stops.
This tour was very informative. Our guide/driver (Alonso) really knew his history of the area & told great stories. He obviously loves his job! We opted to only get off at one stop but had the option for quite a few more.
They told us that with the construction around the Alamo, the pick up point sometimes changes. It’s a good idea to call ahead so you go to the correct point.

It’s a good thing to do if you want to see the historic part of the city. Buy tickets ahead of time for better price. Tour guides are well educated in the history.
The experience was fine except I accidentally bought the wrong ticket. I should’ve paid for the two days and I accidentally bought the one day and now today I can’t go with my family because they got two days so I’m kind of sad. I did call to try to get help with it to see if they can change it since they both were the same price but unfortunately I called twice and nobody was able to help me so I’m a little upset about that so where do you buy one ticket or two? The class wasn’t any different so I feel like somebody could’ve helped me so I’m not gonna buy another ticket and my family has to go without me.

Stops are not marked at all. Wasted 2 hours looking for the stop. Called customer service who was clueless. Sent a message through the app. When we got home there was an email response. Not happy. Once on the Trolly everything was great. Garret our driver very helpful & knowledgeable. We like doing the Hop on our first day in any new city
This is a wonderful way to learn about the area and travel around the city... especially if you do not have a car available. We enjoyed most of the tour guides, some better than others. We got off at the Japanese Tea Garden and loved it. We do wish we would have been informed before purchase of tickets of stops that could not be gotten to due to road construction (Tower of Americas) as it was too far for us to walk to from other stops and was one thing we had hoped to see. We also wish the operator had told us about great eateries and breweries near stops when we were there, rather than point them out after starting to drive again when it was too late to get out. It was great that they had a promotion of buy one day get second one free! We got to see and know alot more of the area than we would have if we were driving and navigating around the city. And.....no.parking anxieties!
Very disappointing- 1st stop was blocked with construction- had to catch the trolley as it drove by us. 1st driver very informative, suggested lunch at the Emma hotel. Which we did. When we were done, we had no idea where the next trolley stop was- there are no SIGNS advising you where the next trolley stops were. We only found it when we saw some people sitting on a wall. We really wanted to go to the Alamo next, but learned the trollies only go ONE WAY. We got on at stop 3 and the Alamo was stop 12- about an hour away, if we stayed on the trolley. We had no idea that your “ Hop on & Hop off” service would only take you one way, instead of having trollies that went the opposite direction also, if that’s what you needed.
Worst experience ever- a total waste of our money & time. The second driver was more interested in telling us what his favorite restaurants were. We definitely DID NOT want to go back for the 2nd day tour.
We toured San Antonio on the hop on hop off trolley tour bus. Our guide was Garrett and he was beyond fantastic. His knowledge was superior.
