The crazy thing is I was actually impressed the whole time.
I went in thinking it was going to be an okay experience and actually had a lot of fun and pretty mind blown. As an adult being mind blown by the magic tricks being performed felt awesome. Would highly recommend for everyone to go.

Ticket time is a half hour before showtime. They ask you to get there no later than a half hour before. We thought that was ticket time, so we were there an hour before. They had a scavenger hunt around the facility. There’s a little magic shop counter and a bar with a wonderful bartender, Oscar. He was great as he entertained us and poured our magical drinks. Free popcorn. Show was great and very interactive. My son loved it.

This was a very family friendly and entertaining experience no matter how you feel about magic. Oscar‘s jokes were hysterical, at least to me and my generation. The staff was friendly, courteous, attentive, entertaining, and helpful in order to make your evening enjoyable. The magicians incorporated audience participation. It is a great experience whether it’s your first or 100 magic show. The entertainment was excellent and amazing. Since different musicians are utilized throughout the year. I hopefully will return multiple times. It was well worth it!

Fun and entertaining evening. The magicians were comedians as well. I was hoping for some fun magical cocktails but only mocktails , beer and wine .
I would return next time I visit the area .

Very entertaining! Oscar with the mustache made fantastic magical mocktails. And the other Oscar was funny and did some amazing card tricks during the preshow. We saw Max for the main show. He was also funny and interactive, lots of audience participation. Very impressive!

Enjoyed the before show activities, the magic show was fun and entertaining. Scott and his opening act were very good!! Funny and kept the crowd involved in the show plus shared some magic secrets!!

The Magic Saloon was amazing. The show was interactive and kept the audience engaged. I loved the magic drinks , free popcorn and mini magic shows prior to the main event. My family and friends loved it and talked about it alll night. This place is a must see. Put it on your bucket list. !!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The show was funny throughout and the magic tricks were impressive. While the show itself deserves a 5 star rating, I'm giving the overall experience a 4 because they encouraged us to arrive 30 minutes early, but we stood in line almost 30 minutes, and then there is a pre-show scavenger hunt that dragged on too long. I suggest getting to the theater no sooner than the starting time.

So much fun. Great venue. Old Saloon! Pre show was entertaining with excellent card tricks and Mystery Hunt for a prize. Bartender was awesome. Full of personality. Kept the energy level up! The main act was awesome. One of the best Illusionists I have seen. Engaged so many in the audience. Was a ton of fun and well worth it. Would highly recommend! KIE

The whole evening was such a pleasant surprise! I read great reviews from families, but didn’t know if my husband and I would have the same stellar experience for our date night. This is a super fun evening! They have different guests magicians all year round. I would definitely recommend going back more than once. Even if you don't think that you like magic , you will still be entertained.

What a fun experience while visiting San Antonio! We laughed and were wowed from beginning to end! Oscar is so fun, has such a likable personality, and completely flabbergasted me by somehow putting a coin under my watch! My watch is on pretty tight, I didn’t even feel it, yet after showing observers my sleeves pushed up, the front and back of my hands, he asked me the time. And it was there! All night long we were wowed. Max also was phenomenal on stage! He guessed the exact word I picked out in a book (I looked through the book, it was a normal book! No clue how he did that! Free all you want popcorn, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available. Highly recommend!

The theater is nice the scavenger hunt was fun and a nice way to tour the theater.. The unlimited popcorn was delicious and the drinks were strong but kept you mellow... The headliner and host was very funny an entertaining.. Id go back again.

We had so much fun! This was our first time at the Magic Saloon, and after the show was over, we all agreed that we would definitely be returning. From the moment you walk through the door until the very end, it is an experience.
The opening act was terrific and hilarious as was the main attraction! So much fun so much laughter! Even the bartender, when he would make drinks, did it always with a touch of magic and it was joyful just to watch him.

Arrive early and enjoy the pre-show activities, and the architectural features of this historic building. The entire cast and crew were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the family friendly show. It was “Pepper’d” with undertones of soft innuendo; enough to get laughs from adults, yet fly right over the heads of the younger audience members. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase and there is unlimited FREE popcorn. Enjoy the MAGIC!

We wanted to do something while in San Antonio enjoying the Riverwalk experience so we scheduled this. It was easy to find and we really enjoyed ourselves, I would recommend it Highly. It was engaging and fun for a family, and even for a couple like us. Some of the jokes were a touch cheesy but overall we really really thought the Scott Pepper did a great job.
There was a man, that was preshow, that really engaged with us with several card tricks that were a blast. If you're going to go, I would recommend getting there 30 minutes early so you can experience some of the fun like that.
