Worth the day trip

We had a wonderful, interesting day with Alessandro. He was a great driver and knowledgeable tour guide. He made sure we did not miss anything significant and shared interesting stories about the area. The trip is a great way to get a taste of rural Italian countryside - ancient trees, olive groves, country roads, small towns. Villa Adriana is fascinating and Alessandro brought it to life with pictures and descriptions. Villa di’Este is s beautiful example of a large country house, and of course, amazing gardens. Allessandro also steered to a great restaurant for lunch.

One of the best tours we took, and we were there for two weeks. Both Tivoli Gardens and Hadrian‘s Villa were magical. Our guide, Alessandro Vagnoni was the absolute Best! Wish we had met him earlier in our vacation because we would’ve loved to do many tours with him. He was extremely bright, knowledgeable , funny and accommodating to anything we requested. He was also a great driver. You can’t go wrong with him and this tour.

Our tour guide/driver was great. He was very informative, didn’t rush, and also took our photos multiple times. I must admit that Tivoli Gardens is one of my favorite places that I have been to. Lots of history and waking around for both areas. A must if you want to do something out of the city. Left at nine and was back by four.

Gave the tour at four, because they turned off the water, so no fountains were running the day we went. It was no fault of the company, however. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and it was fun to hear all the stories and see what the ruins ones look like. In short, it was worth every penny.

Alessandro was an excellent tour guide. He was patient and attentive to what we wanted in a tour. Both sites were beautiful and his passion and knowledge for the history surrounding the villas made the day engaging and fun. Even my ten-year old, who generally thinks tours are "not her thing" enjoyed the experience. I'd found other similar tours that were more expensive and not private. This was a fantastic price and much better than other tours we've taken. I highly recommend this for the quality and value. Alessandro is a gem, and one of the better tour guides out there.
