We enjoyed getting to ride and get out and up close to the monuments. We saw the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and S. Maria Basilica. We had an excellent tour guide and the head phone worked really well.

Excellent way to get an overview of some of the key sites in Rome. We were a group of 10 adults with limited time in Rome. It was an especially great way to hit these spots in the heat! Our guide, Eva, and her team were FANTASTIC! It was informative, fun and left us wanting to come back to Rome and explore more!

    Forced to ride backwards

    Mike_F, Oct 2026
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her English was a bit hard to understand, but we managed. The issue I had was the golf cart ride itself. We are older (65+) adults. Not great having to ride on the back seat of the golf cart, which faces backward. Maybe younger people would enjoy that view. We did not. I wouldn't expect to ride in a tour bus facing backwards. I didn't expect to have to ride in a golf cart that way either. There is room for 6 people facing forward on these carts. To me, that is all they should be selling. The reps at the Crown Tours local office near the Colosseum told us that those rear-facing seats are very popular - we must be mistaken. But every other tour cart we saw that day had no riders in the back seat, and none of the 12 other people in our group hopped in back ahead of us. They were the last seats left. Crown Tours Inc. had no response when I sent them this same feedback.

    Response from Host, Oct 2026

Dear Mike, Thank you for taking the time to describe your experience in such detail, and for your kind words about your guide, as well as your note about her English. We understand that travelling in a rear-facing seat was not what you expected, and that it took away from your enjoyment of the tour. We are also sorry to read that you did not feel your concerns were heard, either at the office or after you wrote to us. At Crown Tours, we want you to feel at ease from start to finish, and your comments are important to us. We would be grateful if you could send your booking reference and a short summary to feedback@crowntours.com, so that we can look into this properly. Yours sincerely, Sky Crown Tours

Victor, getting close to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Santa Maria Basilica made for quite a route through Rome. The guide and reliable headsets helped every stop feel clear and connected. Thoughtful details like that leave more room to enjoy the city itself. Best, Sky Crown Tours

Silvia, when a tour ends with the whole group wanting to come back and see more, we know everything went right. For 10 adults with limited time, and Rome’s summer heat to contend with, the golf cart sounds like it gave you the perfect mix of comfort, discovery, and fun. We’re especially happy Eva and our team made the experience feel so lively and well organized while still covering so many of the city’s highlights. Thank you for the fantastic recommendation, and we hope Rome gets a second chapter with you soon. Best regards, Sky Crown Tours

    This was such a neat...

    Hrisoula_M, Nov 2025
This was such a neat experience! The crew was so kind and friendly! They offered us wine (and refills!) throughout the tour, gave lots of interesting facts about the sites, and described so much history of the town. They even added an extra site! Very, very magical to tour Rome like this.

    Response from Host, Nov 2025

Dear Hrisoula, What a pleasure to read your review! We’re thrilled to hear how magical your golf cart experience felt, from the warm hospitality to the extra stop and all the stories shared along the way. Exploring Rome with a glass of wine in hand is a special kind of memory, and we’re so glad our team helped create that moment for you. Thank you for sharing your experience with such enthusiasm. We’d love to welcome you back for another unforgettable ride through the city. Warm regards, Sky Crown Tours
