What's Included

A 2,5 hours guided tour with Francesco (Officially licensed as Tour Guide)
Local guide (on a separate Vespa)
Helmet(s) and basic insurance for all drivers (and passengers, if any).
Use of a Vespa 125cc scooter (one Vespa per driver) for the duration of the tour.
Pre-ride briefing on route and safety protocols for experienced drivers

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS – For Your Safety and the Group’s Comfort
Minimum age: 18 years
Prior experience riding a 125cc scooter or motorcycle is required
Drivers must feel comfortable riding in busy city traffic

Not suitable for beginners or first-time riders
EU-issued licenses must be category A or B (also valid for UK, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, Switzerland)
Non-EU licenses require a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) as required by Italian law
U.S. citizens: An IDP issued by AAA is legally required. Without it, self-drive is not permitted
Due to insurance requirements, guests without an IDP (when required) cannot ride one of our Vespas.
If you arrive without an IDP, it may still be possible to arrange a separate Vespa rental with a nearby partner (about €45, subject to availability).
€500 security deposit required at check-in (cash or credit card)
Fully refunded after the tour once the Vespa is returned in proper condition
This is a guided city experience, not a riding lesson
If you are unsure about your confidence level, we recommend choosing the Vespa with Driver option to fully enjoy the experience stress-free.

Fabulous experience going around Rome on a Vespa and zipping through traffic and side streets while cars are stuck in gridlock. You cover so much ground in the 3 hours. Have frequent stops for photos and you get to see all the main sights (and get to park real close so little walking). The next day we went back to certain spots that we wanted to spend more time at, but this tour is the perfect introduction to Rome with a hilarious tour guide. Thanks Francesco for the laughs and memories. Best tour we have done yet!

Wonderful way to see the city! This was one of our favorite excursions of our whole trip. So much fun! I will say make sure you have experience riding a scooter in traffic if you want to be the driver, otherwise they have plenty of people willing to drive you around on the Vespa for $50 extra I believe. You are weaving in and out of traffic, and there is little instruction on operating the Vespa.

Nice tour, good view of the historic part of the city. Touring with a Vespa gives you the change to see a lot in 3 hours time. The explanation can be more in detail and the Vespa in better condition, rest was good!

Amazing experience getting to drive in Rome. Definitely not for those that aren’t ready to drive through crowds and don’t know how to navigate on 2 wheels. Francesco was an awesome and very educated tour guide and the spots we saw were amazing. He is “a very nice! And great success!” The best parts were being able to drive through the city and seeing so much in such little time. Highly recommend.
