Gilberto was fabulous shared his extensive knowledge of the city and Rome’s extensive history while navigating the crowded streets on Saturday evening. Loved that he was flexible and wanted us to see all that we could given all of the on-going refurbishments, prep work for the jubilee year, and subway works.

Our guide ( driver ) was Carlos and he was very entertaining and provided much information to make sense of Rome and the landmarks we were seeing . He took great pictures of ours too .The traffic in Rome is bad and we had made a dinner reservations so it felt like rushed but it was worth it .we expected to see Vatican but we were also short of time .
Our hotel was very close to these landmarks and we did the following day visits to all places by foot . Rome is hot humid and we all realized that night tour was savior .

Marco was wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a bit jet lagged and the view from the top of the Spanish steps in a dream state was bellisima — mo? We have been so pleased with Viator bookings!

I highly recommend this tour. it is beyond excellent and I think the best way to see and learn about Rome. Gilberto was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. He is so friendly and very knowledgeable. I learnt so much in this tour, lots of history, current politics, how they raised the city by the river because of floods, best places to shop and eat etc! The vehicle was so comfy. It rained and he modified the tour to see the highlights when the rain stopped/calmed. Any stops where I wanted to take photos, were no trouble at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the two hours flew by. I shall definitely return to Rome and I think next time I’ll book the day tour. Thanks so much Gilberto

Marco was a delight. He drove through Italian traffic with ease and showed us all the major sights at night. He was very knowledgeable and his English was excellent. This was a great orientation to Rome so best early in the trip but was worth it on our second night. Car was very clean and comfortable.

We booked this tour on our last night in Rome and it was a wonderful experience! Marco was a lovely guy who drove us around showing us some less touristy sites in Rome, he also brought us to some really beautiful sites we would have never have gone to but for him. He also dropped us off at this really pretty area for us to have our dinner after the tour. the place was near our hotel and we would not have known this little gem but for him. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to understand and see abit of the less touristy side of Rome.

It was very impressive to see the ruins and all the history Rome has to offer. The night tour was worth every penny. Seeing the city lit up at night was amazing, an Marco was an excellent tour guide !!!!!

Due to our plans the following day, we went a bit too early for our night tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to cover a lot of ground and visited lots of the top main sites. We enjoyed ourselves.

This was a highlight of our stay in Rome. This is the way to see Rome alive. Our guide deiver Gilberto was awesome. He took us right to the attractions so we didn't have to walk. And seeing them at night is a different experience. Plus it was a lot less crowded! Great TOUR

Die Rome by Night Tour war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Unser Guide Gilberto war extrem kompetent, sehr freundlich und ist sogar auf meinen Sonderwunsch eingegangen. Es wurde ein Strauß Rosen und ein Prosecco besorgt, mit welchem, nach erfolgten Hochzeitsantrag am Gianicolo, angestoßen wurde.
Wir können es beide nur empfehlen!
