This was a great experience. The singers were great, the songs they picked some of my favorites and staff super friendly. We arrived a few minutes late but they were accommodating and the experience very enjoyable. I would just note that the description about the post performance tour was slightly misleading, in that we just went to the rooftop of the building where there was a bar and were able to take some scenic pictures (which was nice, but wasn't any sort of tour per say).

My husband and I spent an absolutely lovely afternoon at the event…. Between the wine and hors d’euorvers, the magnificent view, and the *incredibly* talented singers we could not have been more delighted with the experience. The soprano took time to introduce each song and explain its context and significance. It was the perfect ending to our first visit to Rome. Would HIGHLY recommend to all travelers - especially those who are inexperienced with opera, like myself!

Not a big opera guy but when in Rome, this was an awesome experience. Not too long just enough time. Was disappointed we weren’t able to stay on the rooftop except for the picture.

Our first Opera ever, and it was nothing short of amazing! The ambiance was incredible and the wine and tagliatelle were delicious. The opera singers, Paola and Emil are extraordinary singers! They started the program on time and the selection of arias were great. We recognized four of the many songs they performed, but the entire program was fantastic. They even sang extra songs that weren’t included in the program, which we greatly appreciated since we didn’t want the experience to end.
After the program was finished, we were ushered upstairs on the 5th floor and had the chance to enjoy the amazing views of the city. Although the views were great, we were highly disappointed that the staff at the rooftop bar wouldn’t allow us to have drinks and aperitivos even though our experience included an hour at the rooftop. The staff we spoke to about ordering drinks was dismissive, and told us we can’t order anything since we didn’t have a reservation. But other people that was in the same group that watched the opera was able to order drinks and food, maybe we weren’t as lucky to have a different staff to wait on us.
We decided to just take pictures and enjoy the view, and left the rooftop bar to enjoy our food and drinks elsewhere.
Overall, the open opera was amazing! We would definitely come back and see another one, although we will probably skip the rooftop bar/views because of the negative reception there.

We are very sorry about what you mentioned regarding the rooftop. We believe we have identified the issue, which was simply a misunderstanding, and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to clarify for those reading this response how to reserve a table on the rooftop after our concert. Included in our ticket is a visit to the panoramic terrace, the only one in Rome that offers a 360° view of the entire city from the historical center, as indeed occurred at the end of our concert. To have a reserved table for drinks after our concert, a reservation is required, which we offer, at a special price, exclusively to those who book through our website. The other concert attendees you noticed sitting on the rooftop after the concert had this special ticket. In your case, you purchased through another site, and thus the rooftop reservation was not included. You can verify this by checking your ticket. Since there were no tables available, the bar staff was unable to assign you a table. We hope that this clarifies the misunderstanding. Lovely rooftop area and the opera singers were great. Really enjoyed the experience. Just felt a little rushed after the opera singers finished and we were ushered upstairs to the rooftop bar. Would have been nice to stay a little longer.

A really lovely evening. The whole experience was great.
However if you want to have a drink on the rooftop terrace afterwards make sure you book beforehand as it was fully booked when we were taken up there.

Whilst the opera itself was wonderful, the event itself does feel a bit rushed. The nibbles were beautifully presented but there was very little time to enjoy them before the singing started.
There was also no interval or pause for a breather which would’ve been nice given that there is food, wines and a beautiful balcony to enjoy.
Generally a good evening, but a bit rushed through for a premium excursion and given the amount paid.

Thank you also for the review, which allows me to remind all our guests of the importance of arriving at the time indicated on the vouchers. Our experience lasts an hour and a half, and arriving punctually at 5.30 pm (as it was written on your voucher and on the Viator website where you purchased the event) you have the opportunity to fully enjoy the view of Piazza Navona, take photos and taste the food and wine at your leisure before the concert, which starts at 6 p.m and ends at 7 p.m.
After the end of the concert we offer our guests the guided tour of the Terrace La Grande Bellezza where scenes of the Oscar winning film was set, with a breathtaking view over Rome.
Unfortunately you missed the initial part of our event, arriving later than the indicated time.

This was a GREAT experience, even for non-opera aficionados. My wife and I enjoyed this our first night in Rome. The patio venue with views of Rome is absolutely incredible. The wine and food (appetizer) portions are generous and delicious. The opera selections are short and fast and fun, even for a non-opera fan like me. The owner/entertainers really sang their hearts out, and hearing this lovely opera at sunset in Rome was really magical. There's not a lot to do in terms of culture in the evening in Rom, and this was perfect. While it may seem expensive, it's really worth every penny as an experience and memory you will have forever!

This was really a special evening. Six friends and I decided to do a little something different and booked this. To say that the evening was magical would be an understatement. The setting is on the 4th floor terrace of the Eitch Borromini Hotel. There were just a few other people there besides the seven of us. The performance was stunning! Even if you are not an opera fan the experience is a once in a life time treat. Paola Alonzi was the soprano who performed and her description prior to each piece was so enthusiastic, one could not help but to be swept up in the emotion of the performance.

We really enjoyed every minute of this experience. My husband, who is not into opera, gave an idea of finding an experience with opera singers.
Surprise, and I found exactly what he asked for. It was great! After a long and busy day of running around Rome, this was even mire enjoyable.
First, the view from a top of the hotel was estonishing. The service with wine was great. Both singers were professional and sang beautifully. The selection of pieces and live piano accompaniment was awesome. Very private, probably 10 tables, outside with views of the Piazza Navona, what an experience.
After, we opted to go to hotels higher floor lounge to have some more drinks with 360 degrees view of the city. Great way to end the night.
