Plane had mechanical issues and caused me to miss our appointment. Text Viator to inform them of such. Driver wasnt notified and we were deemed no shows. No refund or other arrangements were offered.

The contacted agent for viator was dependable and was a safe driver. I would recommend Viator to a friend.
Alan was an excellent, knowledgeable and considerate host! Our flight arrived on time, however, there was a significant systemwide issue getting through immigration and passport control in the Rome airport. As a result, every non-EU passenger had to be manually screened. While understandable given current world circumstances, it took close to 2 hours to get through Immigration and Customs. We sent a text to Alan to let him know the situation and asked him to wait for us. He answered us quickly and assured us that he would be there. Despite the long delay, Alan took us to our hotel first to drop off our luggage and check-in. Once that was done, he provided us with a full city tour of Rome including a stop at the Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain, providing us sufficient time to walk around the beautiful sites and take photographs. During the tour, Alan provided us with detailed historical information about Rome, and the significance of the sites we were viewing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Alan and appreciate his thought provoking insights on Rome’s treasures, and Italy’s cultural contributions to the world.

Where to start: simply awful guide…talked loudly about politics, his check engine light was on in what appeared to be a 15+ old Mercedes van (had huge dents where it had been wrecked), he used foul language (5 F bombs), no luggage help upon arrival, no water, and was dressed like a homeless person (stains on pants and wrinkled old sport coat). Because the tour was so long, I’d begrudgingly tipped him US$60 just to be done with him (we ended it a hr early). You would do well to take him off your list of contractors; do you interview them before outsourcing? This was a complete ripoff for paying almost $400 for this tour.

Was a great experience! Alan was a great driver, very knowledgable, and very accommodating. Took us to all the main attractions briefly, so we could decide if we wanted to return during our visit. Would recommend to anyone visiting Rome!!
We are so happy we booked this. Our driver was very kind, knowledgeable and flexible, allowing us to personalize where we went and what we saw. We were glad we did this at the start of our trip to see the different areas of Rome because then we knew places we wanted to return to and spend more time at for the remainder of our trip.
I had a 7-hour layover in Rome. I was picked up by at the airport by a friendly driver -guide Alan who is well versed in ancient and modern history. I had an amazing experience of a guided tour to major historical sites in Rome. The trip was well planned and very informative and fun. I will definitely call Alan again to give my family a friends a more immersive experience when we visit next time.

I had an amazing experience with Alan. I usually take a while to get along with anyone, but with Alan it seemed as if we had known each other for years. He is such a nice, patient, kind and knowledgeable person. He took me to nice places and offered great explanations. I was very impressed with his professionalism that I forgot that I had paid viator a lot of mine! I even took a picture with him. He made my experience very memorable. Thank you Alan!

The tour in question clearly indicates it finishes in the city of Rome. The person who booked instead wanted a free ride back to the airport (20miles) for his relatives. Still we accomdated the request, and to receive this review speaks for itself.
This was the perfect way to start our trip in Rome! Emi was a great guide! We had so much fun with him and he made the tour engaging and fully customized to what we were looking for. On top of a great tour of the city and sites, it was so nice having a quick pickup at the airport. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with a shorter period of time in Rome in order to maximize what you can see.

Juri was a fantastic driver and guide. He made sure our group of 4 got to the sites we wanted, and took us to a couple of surprise ones. His skill at maneuvering through the crazy Rome traffic was truly amazing. He was very knowledgeable and amusing, and he was very considerate of my mobility limitations.

On our way into Rome from the FCO, we got stuck in traffic. Rather than using up time watching brake lights, he checked traffic and gave us some options that didn't involve major delays.
And yet we still covered a lot of ground from Vatican City to the Appian Way, Catacombs, and scenic vistas around Rome. (we had already booked a tour of the colloseum, so didn't need to go there).
Then he dropped us near our hotel (it's inside parliament security zone, so we had to take a short walk).

Great guy. Entertained the whole family in our trip around Rome. Very informative . He gave us plenty of time at every monument. Well worth the money. It’s like the hop on hop off multiplied by 10. The highlight of our 3 day trip.
Our guide was Aldo. So courteous and informative. I joked with him that he drove like James Bond. The streets he navigated, with the twists and turns, we saw the best parts and also some hidden gems. Of course we asked if he would take our picture a few times, never a problem, and the pictures turned out great. It was a great introduction to Rome, it brought back all the history we learned years ago. His perspective was enlightening.
Tour was great. Allan, our driver was great and very informed about all the history of Rome. He made everything very interesting. We truly enjoyed.
