Operator cancelled trip without any notice. Left us stranded. Did not even tell us about cancellation until we emailed them when we could not find them. So thoughtless and unprofessional. Still have not refunded.

Tour Operator Cancelled Trip the Night Before the Trip Without Any Explanation

The tour operator cancelled my booking the night before the trip without any explanation. They said they would refund my credit card. I emailed them and asked if there were any other tours from Rome to Capri and they failed to respond. Very poor customer service. My family was looking forward to this trip and we were very disappointed, particularly since they cancelled at 7 pm the night before the trip and we were supposed to leave at 7 am the next morning.

Hello, Just to clarify, your booking was made last minute, and we informed you within about an hour that it was already too late to join that day’s tour. We also offered alternatives but did not receive a reply. Both your reservation and the cancellation were made the night before the early morning departure. You were not charged at any point. We understand the disappointment, but unfortunately last-minute bookings for early tours can’t always be accommodated. Best regards.
