What a fabulous way to see this beautiful city and learn about its rich history! Our guide, Carrie, was wonderful- so well-informed. She shared everything from facts to what types of plants and trees we were looking at! And a gracious host as well - the donuts were a welcome treat! 3 hours was a perfect amount of time to get to know Portland a bit better, and in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. I highly recommend!

Great tour and guide, love the view from the mansion, the rose garden and the free donut. Weather was good, we lucked out we were the only 2 in the tour. Van was comfortable. Portland the birthplace of the founder of Nike and the writer of The Simpsons.

Carrie did a great job explaining all aspects of Portland. There were only two of us on the tour and we appreciated that they did not cancel. This was a winter tour so the roses weren’t in bloom, but the views were still spectacular. Thanks Carrie for making it interesting!

Kerry our tour guide was the best 👌 very sociable and knowledgeable about the city and its surroundings. Didnt mind my two kids at all as we were the only ones for this session.Would hjghly recommend.

Sara was great, explained history & different areas of the city. I chose her trip because it was an overview drive tour to areas I wanted to see in a town I was not fully aware of. The day was warm, clear, balmy & on that day had opportunity to try a Sesame donut and tried a unique cold dish of Geoduck @ Southpark Restaurant at her suggestion. I like to see and try things different things outside of my usual routine.

I’ve been to Portland many times, but decided to book this tour to see some places that aren’t on my usual PDX itinerary. Turns out, I was the only booking that day, so I unexpectedly received a private tour! My tour guide, Carrie, was awesome- very personable, knowledgeable and a good driver! She was easy to converse with and made sure to maximize my time on tour; 10/10 would recommend her tours!

Share everyone’s history on the tour. It is important to share the whole truth. Our guide was informative but uncomfortable telling an inclusive historical truth. She shared one perspective. mainly the white settlers and their “good” and contributions.

Hi there Baroness. I'm sorry your guide wasn't comfortable with a nuanced look at history -- it's something we have spent a lot of time learning and emphasizing as a company, and if you had a different guide I'm sure you would have had a different perspective on history; telling the story of the industrialists honestly is a passion of mine. I will sit down and work on getting them comfortable with this part of storytelling, as I think it's vital we learn to retell history.

Pittock mansion was amazing even though we only saw it from the outside. The best part is the front and backyard ;)

I really enjoyed learning about Portland on this tour and checking out the many awesome views of this city and getting outside in nature. I thought is was going to be more riding around various neighborhoods and attractions in Portland but it wasn't. It was, however, exactly what I needed. The views from Pittock House were really amazing, as was walking around the grounds of the property. The International Rose Garden really exceeded my expectations and my senses. Luckily most of the roses were still in full bloom and they were so fragrant.
Sarah was an excellent tour guide. I'd definitely do one of the other tours she leads.

Pleasant tour guide and got see Portland’s treasures in a short amount of time. The view from Pittock Mansion was stunning. We literally stopped by and smelled the roses.

Sara was a great tour guide. I enjoyed seeing the view of Portland and Mt Hood from the yard of the Piccot Mansion. I enjoyed Sara’s stories and Sesame Donuts.
