Loved this bike ride! Our host, Kelly, was fantastic. She shared her knowledge about Portland’s murals, and the artists as well. Together, we leisurely rode around to take in the stunning murals with plenty of time to observe and take photos., and it was a wonderful way to experience one part of the Portland art scene.

We had a small group tour with Austin and Kelly. It was great. Very chill pace, time to stop at various pieces of art for pictures etc, and a nice way to see more of Portland. Our guides did a great job discussing the art and getting us thinking about the pieces.

Boring

Anida_M, Jan 2026
Left a lot to be desired. It started as a biking tour, which was accidentally booked when a walking tour was preferred. The bike waa super uncomfortable on the crotch area and I almost got run over in the street as soon as the tour started. At that point, I deemed the tour unsafe and put a stop to the tour at which point the tour guide asked if we wanted to swap to a walking tour. However, no credit for paying for bike rentals was offered, and I feel like the tour was half of what it could have been due to the sudden last-minute change. To sum it up it was boring…

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Your response is disheartening as you communicated none of your concerns to us until it was too late. It IS unsafe to try to do a bike tour when you cannot ride a bike. It would have been better if you would have told us you didn’t know how to ride a bike and didn’t mean to book a bike tour at the beginning but you did not do that until you were attempting to cross a busy street on bike infrastructure. We do not want people in that situation, which is why we indicate that you must know how to ride a bike to do the tour; that is in our waiver. You were offered a walking tour at the beginning and did not take us up on it. The bike seat was uncomfortable because you had not ridden a bike in decades. I suspect that it was “boring” not so much because the content was boring but because you were angry at yourself for booking the wrong tour. We don’t offer a walking street art tour currently so we did our best to adapt to your needs. There is no circumstance in which we would, unasked, offer a refund for a customer’s mistaken booking. We made the guide and the equipment available. If you are in this circumstance in the future, I suggest asking your guides BEFORE they try to fit you for bikes that you didn’t mean to be here at all.

Fabulous guide

We had a blast on what turned out to be a private tour of Portland’s public art! Our guide Kelly went at our pace and shared lots of cool stories along the way.

Vibrant art

Vibrant art around a nice little urban bike ride. Austin was a good ambassador for the art and for Portland.

Incredibly Fun & Educational Tour

Michelle_L, Jul 2025
I gave this bike tour as a 33rd birthday gift to my daughter. She and I both loved every thing about it. The street art was beautiful, powerful, and inspirational. Our guides, Austin and Kelly, were very knowledgeable about the art and artists and they both shared very inspiring, engaging stories. We will definitely go on this tour again.

This was amazing. Kelly...

This was amazing. Kelly made this the trip of a lifetime. She was funny, knowledgeable, and kind. We made a few pit stops that added to an already immaculate vibe.

Fun and easy Street Art Bike Tour

Leon_S, May 2025
Riding was easy and the street art was fascinating and impressive. Was as weird as we expected for Portland!

Fun Street Art Tour as an Anniversary Date

Camilla_K, May 2025
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Kelly was phenomenal. She knew all about the art district and murals. Since we were the only two on the tour, it was pretty personalized and we learned generally with this tour it is a smaller group for safety reasons. The neighborhood you bike in is very friendly towards cyclists and the bikes are really well maintained. We really enjoyed our 15 year dating anniversary, especially with the adventure, art and good company. We learned about places that we will visit again on our own in the future. We are Oregonians (outside of the Portland Metro) and would definitely go on another tour with this company. Thank you Kelly! 🌻

Great Tour - informative and fun

Jennifer_T, Apr 2025
Easy ride. A few refreshment stops. Sarah was very well versed in the history of the area and the art. And also super friendly!

So cool, I was sad when it ended.

Paige_E, Apr 2025
Super informative and fun. Took us to so many places we didn't know existed. Our tour guide, Kelly, was awesome and really friendly!

Really worth it

Ying_L, Apr 2025
We were the only group with a 5year old in trailer on the day we took the tour. Sarah was very nice and making sure my husband was able to follow her lead. Herself is an artist as well and quite familiar with the local artists. She gave us a deep dive of the connection between and local history. I was looking for a tour like this for long time to learn about a city. I love the fact that we’re not just talking about arts but a fast talk about what’s happening locally as well.

Great way to see Portland...

Kathy_G, Mar 2025
Great way to see Portland and learn about the Art culture. Learned about other city history, got some exercise and enjoyed the tour

Super fun and interesting!

Liz_O, Oct 2024
The tour was so-much-fun! We learned a lot and saw lots of really interesting pieces. Our tour guide Kelly was amazing - knowledgeable, passionate, communicative and personable, funny and fun! The biking was easy. The tour surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend!

The best!

Beba_A, Sep 2024
Kelly! I really can not put into words how absolutely amazing She is. This tour was amazing and so many ways we really got a feel of Portland as a city, its art, the culture as well as its history. We will absolutely be back with our kids to go on another tour with Kelly!!

Very Fun. Great way to experience the city!

Bethany_R, Aug 2024
Loved every minute! Would highly recommend. It was not difficult and really beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable and simpler friendly.

So Much More Than We Expected!!

Mary_S, Aug 2024
Kelly was sensitive to all rider levels which started the ride off great to being with. She only got better from there. The street art she revealed to us were truly uniquely amazing pieces. I think the ride could have been 4 hours and we still wouldn’t have seen all the street art Portland has to offer. Kelly’s knowledge of the artists, Portland’s street art scene and even the city’s interesting architecture was fascinating. She introduced us to some great local spots…that we’ll return to

Dope Experience

Passion_A, Nov 2023
We booked this tour for a chance to explore the artistic side of the city, to celebrate our anniversary. It was a great experience. Kelly our tour guide was so kind and very patient with us. We didn't have gloves and it was freezing that day, and she provided us with some. We hadn't ridden bikes in years and needed time to practice so she let us practice for as long as we needed (which took us 30 minutes😅) We didn't feel pressured or rushed at all, which was very much appreciated. The tour was awesome. Very amazing art worth seeing. 😊

Response from Host, Dec 2023

we are so glad you loved our art and it was so nice to have Kelly work with you on the bikes -- one of our favorite things is to get people more comfortable riding their bike. we hope you went home with great pictures and a passion for biking more in your own city!

Great tour

MargaretRose_O, Sep 2023
Great and interesting experience! Our guide Eli was very friendly and informative and made the tour fun.

A Basic Street Art Experience

Kimberly_P, Jul 2023
Our guide was Dustin who grew up in Portland. He was personable and funny, but we didn't get the feeling of having a passion for street art. He was patient and allowed us to explore/photograph the art work as much as we needed. We had bikes that were comfortable and had strong brakes. Helmets and a bottle of water were included. We have been on many street art tours and we would have liked some deeper conversation regarding the murals and artists. We mainly visited large murals - we did not focus on stickers, paste-ups and graffiti. We did get to see a variety of artists creating new art on the day that we were out - we thought that was interesting. We would suggest adding on a quick stop at a local coffee or tea shop - we rode right by Smith Teahouse (a great opportunity). Use those opportunities to help travelers connect and learn more about Portland area. We did not ride by/talk about food cart pod as mentioned in the description. We did not learn about the Hawthorne bridge going up/down - your description made us feel that we would. This tour allowed us to feel out the Central Eastside industrial area.

Response from Host, Jul 2023

Hi Kimberly, I'm sorry you felt the tour was so impacted by your guide not having the passion you expected for street art. Dustin, as all of our guides and mechanics, have many friends in the street art culture but as you may know there are limitations to telling personal stories given that still some of the art they are doing is not authorized. It sounds like you had an amazing day for art with actual artists doing work; I'm sad that this in itself was not enough to make up for not hearing about the Hawthorne Bridge (it seems like you may have seen an outdated description; the street art world changes often and fast, as you saw with all of the new pieces going up, so we don't often have time to talk about things that are not street-art related). Most definitely if you want to hear about food carts, you may want to stick with a food cart focused tour.

A must for newcomers

Chelsea_B, Apr 2022
Amazing experience and such a great way to see the niche underbelly of Portland. Everett was a pleasant tour guide with vast knowledge of the city and a sunny disposition. 10/10

Response from Host, Apr 2022

We so appreciate your review! Everett has such a passion for the city's art and street art in general and we love to show it off :)
