We were crammed into the basket and had no room at all. I thought we would float over the city and travel some and not stay in the same spot. We literally just floated over a mound of dirt.

Super worth it! We had Patrick who was really good at what he did. We went as high as 9000 feet and it was fun waving at the residents down below. The view of Phoenix during sunset was absolutely gorgeous! Be sure to wear a cap though cause the occasional times they put on some heat can be a little hard on your scalp. Overall I totally recommend!

Our family of four, consisting of two adults and two young kids, had an absolutely amazing experience with Balloon Ryder. From start to finish, the customer service exceeded our expectations. The ground crew was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about their work. They took the time to share the history of the company and answered all of our children's curious questions with enthusiasm and patience.
Our pilot, Jacob Little, was exceptionally skilled and ensured that our sunset ride was smooth and free of turbulence. Throughout the flight, he prioritized our safety, making us feel secure and well taken care of.
The experience concluded with a delightful champagne toast, where we learned about the history of champagne in relation to hot air ballooning. It was the perfect way to celebrate our adventure!
I can't recommend Balloon Ryder enough! This experience was truly unforgettable for our family, and we can't wait to do it again.
I recommend sunset ride so you can have more energy to soak in the adventures! It’s mildly hot due to the fire so don’t wear thick jackets, thin layers are recommended!

I gifted my husband a trip on a hot air balloon for Christmas. I should start by saying I am very afraid of heights but I knew my husband would want me to go so I did. I was so impressed with this company. We boarded a van for a 30 minute ride to the site. Once on location, we watched them setup which was one of the highlights of the trip- just incredible. Then we boarded the basket and we were on our way. I was shaking I was so scared. The noise from the flame/fire was loud but other than that, it was absolutely smooth and quiet. The pilot (Brooke) walked us through the local sites, mountains, etc. He also explained the process of getting the balloon in the air and gave me a better feeling of safety. We were in the air about 45 mins which doesn’t sound like much but it was perfect. He walked us through what to expect with landing “we’re going to bounce, shake, and the basket will tilt…as we touch ground but this is all completely normal and expected”. He was confident and kind and eased my nerves. I am shocked at how much I enjoyed this experience. Highly recommend Rainbow Ryders!

If you have mobility issues this experience would be hard to do as you have to get in/ out of basket. The pilot was very knowledge and it truly was an amazing experience. If you can please try it. You will not regret it.

Very nice unspectacular, calm sunset glide.
Four compartments of up to 4 people per balloon, sufficient space for all. You might want to bring earplugs if you are noise-sensitive (the burner is loud).
The guys did a great job in entertaining and offering bubble water after the event (Kyle, who did not ask to be mentioned by name as so many others do).
Altitudes of up to 3000 ft above ground offer nice views. Would do it again.

Amazing!!!!! What an experience. I was very scared at first but everything from the beginning to end was very smooth.
Jacob was our pilot and he was super professional and helpful.
When you check in, you take a 25 minute ride with the rest of your group to the place. Then you watch the workers blow up the balloon (hard work!) and you can help too if you’d like. Then we got on and went up in the air for 45 min. When we landed it is a bit rough, just an FYI, but Jacob and crew did a great job. We celebrated with mimosas in the desert! 10/10!

The entire trip was well organized. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. I’m not a morning person so this sunset hot air balloon ride was right up my alley. You soar over the Arizonan desert at various altitudes as the pilot points out different areas and answers your questions. We had Kyle as our pilot and he took very good care of all of us. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
