When in the Phoenix area, a trip to the Grand Canyon National Park is a must.
Meet your pilot at Deer Valley Airport where you receive a safety briefing and orientation to your aircraft. Travel in comfort in either a Cessna Caravan or T207, both of which are high-winged airplanes that are ideal for sightseeing from the air and taking photos. Every passenger has a window seat with unobstructed views of the spectacular scenery below.
As you fly to the Grand Canyon, be amazed at the scenery below of the Tonto National Forest, the Red Rock formations of Sedona, the San Francisco Peaks, the Painted Desert, and the Navajo Indian Reservation. Then get an amazing perspective of the widest part of the Grand Canyon as your pilot takes you where few other airplanes are allowed to fly.
The land in Grand Canyon National Park for a guided jeep tour. Enjoy impressive views from one of the South Rim overlooks and stop at the Grand Canyon Historic Village for fantastic photo ops, sweeping views, or an unforgettable stroll along the rim of the Grand Canyon. Keep an eye out for native wildlife as you absorb the grandeur of the vast canyons and multicolored rock terrain. An optional box lunch is available for purchase.
Afterward, head back to the Grand Canyon Airport to continue your aerial journey, returning to Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix via Sycamore Canyon Wilderness and the old mining town of Jerome.

Our Grand Canyon air tour was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we took off from Phoenix, the breathtaking aerial views were mesmerizing. The pilot was friendly and did an excellent job ensuring smooth landings at both ends of the trip. Upon landing, our tour guide made the ground portion just as engaging, ensuring we saw the most stunning viewpoints while providing interesting history and facts about the Canyon and the surrounding region. The return flight offered even more jaw-dropping scenery. This tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to experience the Grand Canyon from the sky and the ground!

This is the best way to see the Grand Canyon in a day. You get to fly over both rims , both rivers and see aspects of the Canyon you would miss if you only went to 1 rim. By combining the fly over with a ground tour you get best of both. Our pilot was great very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Flying from Phoenix to Sedona then to Grand Canyon gives you the distinct landscape differences of this area. On the ground we had a Navajo Guide in the Hummer which gave you even more insight to the area. All around you will have a unforgettable experience. Highly Recommend!

The whole process start to finish was wonderful. There’s no other way to tour the Grand Canyon. The plane ride was smooth & our pilot, Greg, was friendly and helpful. The land tour segment was fabulous. The hummer (BUCK wild hummer tours) had heated seats, water and blankets. The tour guide (I hate that I forgot his name) took us to wonderful spots at each of the stops and even let us eat lunch at on the rocks. It was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. An experience I’ll never forget.

I had a week long work assignment in Phoenix and too an extra day for myself. I have been over the Grand Canyon dozens of times but i really wanted to stand on the edge and view its grandeur.
After working 12 hour days all week in 115 degree heat, I all but gave up on the thought of sitting in a car by myself or riding a rented Harley for over 4 hours to peek at the canyon for an hour then drive back. I found this tour and figured I shouldn't spend the money. This was the best self indulgent experience I've ever made!
I am 6'4" tall and stocky, The aircraft was roomy, clean and up-kept. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating, as was our pilot Dan. The audio was timed with the flight and informative. Dan also pointed out a few things not covered by the audio. He also gave several people to chance to ride copilot. this trip made a brief (10-15) stop in Flagstaff for additional guests.
We Made several passes over the Canyon while Dan pointed out several facts and features. We arrived at the Grand Canyon airport and were greeted by ground tour operator, Trey was also very informative and friendly. We stopped at 4 spots to view and have our box lunch. The return trip was a few minuets quicker and was also narrated.
I was a solo guest, most others were in pairs. I actually enjoyed a 7 hour excursion instead of paying attention to the road for 8 hours and an hour at the rim. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience for me that was from a perspective many will never have.
This trip was well worth the price and you will not leave disappointed!

It is very beautiful and very clear but also very cold. We had a wonderful view of the canyon from the air but when we landed there it was very cold at the end of October and we were told it was the coldest day of the year.

We are happy you were able to enjoy the beauty of the Canyon. Because of the elevation it is always about 30 degrees colder at the canyon than in Phoenix/Scottsdale. This is why we always remind you to wear layers. Unfortunately we have had a very cold snap for the past few days but it is warming up again. So sorry for my late scoring, I am writing this after I have come back to Japan.
I could enjoy the flight to, over and around Grand Canyon and really understand the meaning of GRAND.
Waaaaaooooh I could not find any words when the view of Grand Canyon appeared through the windscreen of the Cessna. It was so big, great, beautiful, wonderful, gigantic, tremendous, ... that I could not get any correct words.
Not only pilots but also ground staffs, they were all so kind and friendly that all my family felt so happy and really enjoyed the tour very much. Thank you!
My daughters are saying that they love USA and Arizona and are going to come again in the next summer.

The views were amazing. However, the organization was a mess. The times told by Viatur were totally wrong, and the ground operator had a totally dofferent plan. They also dont tell you as a part of the tour you will be sitting in the airport waiting to fly back for almost 1 hour instead of touring.

The tour was very special. The driver arrived and was very upbeat. We checked in and met the pilot and started the Viatour over Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was a good flight and absolutely breathtaking BUT my wife's ear phones did not work and could not hear any of the
history ~ very disappointed.
