Overview
Float over Phoenix and the Sonoran Desert in a comfortable and spacious hot-air balloon with an FAA-certified pilot. Depart before daybreak to get incredible views of the desert landscape during sunrise and be a part of the action as the balloon is inflated. What an amazing experience. I had the privilege of having Earl as my driver. The amount of knowledge and experience he had ballooning made me feel absolutely comfortable with my first flight. The flight was serene. We just slowly floated up, watching a new day unfold. Weather was spectacular, light breeze and cloudless blue skies. You could tell how much passion our pilot had for ballooning. He was truly in his element in the sky. I highly recommend this tour. It will be a highlight to your life experiences.

Scott was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, he explained everything in detail and made sure everyone felt comfortable, informed, and safe throughout the entire experience. His professionalism and friendly personality made the hot air balloon ride even more enjoyable.
The views while cruising through the air were breathtaking and truly unforgettable. After landing, we were treated to a delicious breakfast and mimosas, which was the perfect way to end such an incredible morning.
If you’re thinking about booking this experience, do it! Scott made it an experience we’ll never forget. 10/10—highly recommend!

Hot air ballooning is completely dependent on safe weather conditions, and when the winds are not suitable for flight, our pilot has no choice but to cancel. While we're always disappointed to make that decision, the safety of our passengers and crew must always come first.

I recently completed my first hot air balloon ride, and while the flight itself was amazing, the overall customer experience was lacking.
The biggest concern was the lack of restroom access during what was approximately a four-hour experience. I would recommend choosing a meeting location with adequate restroom facilities or partnering with a nearby business so guests have that option before heading into the desert.
The breakfast also felt like an afterthought. Serving food in a dusty environment without visible hand sanitizer, water, or an obvious sanitation process raised concerns. The mimosas were a great!
Lastly, the printed certificate and absence of photos made the experience feel less memorable than it could have been. Small touches like a quality certificate and a few photos would make a lasting impression.
The balloon ride itself was wonderful, but the overall guest experience lacked the attention to detail that turns a great activity into a truly memorable experience.

We appreciate your suggestions regarding the overall guest experience. Our current meeting location does provide restroom facilities before departure, and we encourage all guests to use them prior to leaving for the launch site. Once we depart for the desert, however, there are no restroom facilities available, which is typical for hot air balloon operations.
Regarding our post-flight refreshments, we strive to provide a pleasant outdoor celebration that includes our traditional champagne toast, mimosas, and a light breakfast snack. We also provide bottled water, and hand sanitizer is available with our crew, although we're sorry if it wasn't readily apparent during your visit. We'll use your comments as a reminder to make these amenities more visible.
We also appreciate your thoughts about commemorative certificates and photography. We are always evaluating ways to enhance our guests' memories while keeping the focus on providing a safe, authentic ballooning experience.

The experience was wonderful. We met in a parking lot drove to location … take nap. When we got to location we really didn’t have a lot of time to take many pictures but did. You don’t even notice you’re off the ground beautiful view. Landing was a little adventurous due to a few bushes run in 😂😂 but we landed safely. Everything was setup breakfast and mimosas 🥰 and back into the van and to your vehicle you went. 10/10

Just book it! The captain, Mike P and Earl were phenomenal!!!! I would totally recommend this experience to anyone, and how many times can you say I flew in the largest hot air balloon in the USA! Like omg, the breakfast and champagne was great as well as the drive there. They were kind and SO attentive! Worth every penny!

At age 80 I went on first hot air balloon ride on 05/22/26. The pilot was experienced, professional, knowledgeable, ant friendly. The crew members provided excellent support, including taking pictures. It was a great experience.

The experience was seamless from beginning to end. The drivers at the pickup were there on-time. As soon as we reached the boat, we were in the air within 30 min. The pilot, Scott, was amazing. He explained the hot air balloon process throughout the whole ride and described the scenery. The landing was also exactly as he described and safe. The closing ceremony, breakfast and champagne were the icing on the cake. I would it again!

The staff was friendly and helpful that was great considering how early it was and people were probably running on little sleep. The pilot was experienced and that made all the difference on the day I went. He got us up and back on the ground smoothly. It was a great experience, that I am glad I did at least once.

Experience was great! Scott, our pilot, gave a wonderful running commentary about the landscape, plant life, and wildlife. The entire crew was friendly and professional. The post flight ceremony was touching, informative and humorous. We definitely plan to do it again with this same company!

The sunrise hot air balloon flight was an amazing experience. A bit nervous at 1st, but once the crew started filling the balloon excitement took over. The slow take off was smooth and soon we were floating a couple thousand feet above the dessert.
My wife really enjoyed her birthday surprise.
I have to admit that the crew made this flight an unforgettable experience. Kudos!

The crew did an excellent job managing the huge balloon and keeping everything on time. Earl and Scott were great, very knowledgeable and informative. Breakfast was good and the ability to purchase keepsakes was a nice touch.
