It was an amazing beautiful day! The pilots and crew were amazing, the breakfast was delicious and they set it up fancy. It was also educational, which was a great bonus! We would totally recommend doing this and would love to do this again in the future. Definitely a must on a to do list!

Not scary at all, felt very safe. I was a solo rider and felt strange going by myself, but there were several solo riders and they couldn’t be any nicer. We were a group of 23 and I felt I got to know most of them. Shout out to Earl. He was so nice and entertaining. Spectacular views, glad I did it. Just do it.

Overview

Float over Phoenix and the Sonoran Desert in a comfortable and spacious hot-air balloon with an FAA-certified pilot. Depart before daybreak to get incredible views of the desert landscape during sunrise and be a part of the action as the balloon is inflated. This experience was absolutely unforgettable. Watching the sunrise from the hot air balloon was peaceful, beautiful, and something I will remember forever. The whole team was professional and made the experience feel safe and exciting at the same time. I also want to give a special thank you to Joshua. Even though he wasn’t the pilot of our balloon, he went out of his way to help me and was incredibly kind throughout the experience. After my trip, I accidentally left my car keys in Arizona, and Joshua went out of his way to pick them up from New River, bring them to Phoenix, and mail them back to me in Virginia. That level of kindness and effort meant so much to me. I truly appreciate the hospitality and the amazing experience. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Arizona.

The hot air balloon experience was such a fun and unique one! The guys that helped with flying it and landing it kept us informed the whole time and made us feel safe. The breakfast we had afterwards was also delicious and fostered a sense of community between those that flew in the balloon with us. I would totally do it again!

Hot air balloons are such a serene experience and this was my first ride. It did not disappoint. I was surprised that we had to climb into the gondola vs. a door, but was glad I was able to do it. The crew was so much fun after our ride, setting up breakfast and packing up the balloon. Wear a sweatshirt, but plan on taking it off when in the balloon as the fire can get quite hot.

The sunset was great. Be prepared for the temperature to be much warmer higher up, and the fire obviously creates a lot of heat that you can definitely feel. Just dress accordingly!

It was so much fun! I was very apprehensive about going up in a hot air balloon...like didn't sleep the night before apprehensive...but it was so very easy! You just floated up and didn't even feel like you were moving, even at 20 mph! The pilot was great! Very experienced and talked us through everything including the landing...which was super smooth! I've had way worse commercial jet landings! Then we had a nice breakfast after in the desert...the guys set up cute tables and everything, including champaign and a certificate "ceremony." It was great! If you are apprehensive about doing this, I would say this is a great place to give it a try. Weather was very calm and the team was obviously very experienced! I am looking forward to doing it again sometime now! The ONLY "warning" I can offer is that you do have to climb up and into the gondola (basket)...no stairs or ladder or door to walk thru, so if you don't have leg strength or body strength or any injuries you won't be able to get in. So possibly not something for seniors or people with mobility issues.

This was such a great experience! The crew was so friendly and brought some great energy to the morning. We got to watch the balloon get blown up, and learn a bit about how it all works. Once up in the air our awesome pilot Scott gave us a great tour of the surrounding area, including all the mountain ranges near by. Afterwards we enjoyed a champagne breakfast. Shout out to the crew and Earl for being so great! 10/10 recommend doing this experience!!

Earl (van driver) was an absolute riot AND very knowledgeable about the area. Scott our pilot was also very knowledgeable and has 30 years of experience flying balloons. I felt very safe and full of wonder and awe at the sights in the Sonoran desert. They fed us a delightfully simple, but filling breakfast w/champagne after we landed!
