Pay for parking. College area very busy sidewalks and streets. As always museums are doing changes watch for this in case something your interested in is being redone.

The grandkids really liked the mummies and in general, the Egyptian rooms were the biggest hits! We really enjoyed our visit!

This museum was so much bigger than I realized and we really should have budgeted more time to see it. The layout was easy to follow and they had many different artifacts from various cultures and time periods. I appreciated their acknowledgment of where their artifacts came from. Like I said. My only regret was only alloying about 2 hours to see it all (which we didn’t). Plan to spend at least 3-4 hours here if you’re the kind of person that reads all of the information at the exhibits

Definitely take advantage of the free presentations. We sat through one on interpreting hieroglyphics, and it was amazing. The museum is small but the collection focuses on artifacts from ancient civilizations, and is quite interesting. The gift shop had cool stuff and some very reasonably priced. It was hard to get to because of construction, but an excellent 2-3 hours. *Everyone was following proper COVID guidelines that I saw.*
