Our guide Sophie was very attentive, courteous and an excellent guide. She was very clear about the itinerary and kept tabs on every person in the group. She offered us waters, cranola bars and took photos for us. She was very informative and patient.

Sophie is a fun and knowledgeable guide. We had the best time on our day with her. She’s dedicated to bringing her first hand knowledge of the rock formations and climbers as well as the flora and fauna in the park. We truly appreciate her!

    We participated in a guided tour today in Joshua Tree National Park. Our guide was both knowledgeable and engaging, leading us to several remarkable locations and scenic viewpoints. It included just the right amount of hiking, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

    Jason was happy, friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable about the park. He explained in details what we were viewing and helped us navigate the rocks, etc. The stops were perfect and we got an excellent overview of the park.

    This tour was perfect for getting acquainted with the park, not spending all day in the 100 degree heat and learning about the plants and history of the place. Jason was a very engaging guide, making the tour very enjoyable from beginning to end.

    My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our extended tour of Joshua Tree national park. Our tour group ended up with only four people which made it feel like a private tour. That was awesome because we were able to visit extra destinations in the park for amazing views of the geological formations and desert plant life. We had no idea that there was so much to see in the deserts of California. Well worth the 50min drive from Palm Springs to experience this desert tour.

    We had an amazing tour through Joshua Tree National Park. Our guide, Sophie, truly made the experience exceptional. She was knowledgeable, clear, and fun, and she took great care of everyone in our group. We learned so much throughout the day and couldn’t have asked for a better guide or tour.

You get to walk around and take photos next to the rocks and really get a good feel for the park and it's amazing landscapes.     Wonderful springtime introduction to the park. It is fascinating. Sophie is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the variety of elements and activities surrounding you as you explore a number of sections. She offered alternatives and took the experiences of others to decide where to go next. Her discussion of how climbers use the park was very informative. Sophie is a great guide. Take the tour. It is well worth it!!

    Didn't happen. Waited at the Cottonwood VC for over an hour. I will be requesting a refund. Due to, I am assuming, miscommunication.

    Oh no, you went to the wrong visitor center. We meet at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center. Sorry. But it's not nice to leave a bad review for a tour that you did not go on. :( If you are reading this please look at our other reviews. Thanks.

    A Great Experience

    This was an excellent experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She took the time to contact each of us the day before the tour for any last minute issues which I found reassuring. She talked with each of us while we gathered, getting to know us and binding us together as a group. Her knowledge and love of Joshua Tree was evident, but her care of the group was where she really shone. She was careful to remind us to stay hydrated without being pushy. I have some balance issues and opted out of the final hike. Sophie made sure I was comfortable at the picnic area with access to water and snacks before leading the rest of the group on the hike. This was definitely the best way to experience what Joshua Tree has to offer, and Sophie was the best guide.

    It did say on our confirmation that our entrance to the park was included and it was not. We didn't follow the listed itinary, some spots were skipped. She was a climber which is popular there so we learned more than I expected about the different climbing styles, etc. She was very knowledgeable about the park so overall it was worth the money.

    Glad you guys had fun on our Joshua Tree National Park Tour. At the entrance they make you pay a $15 fee, but a lot of times someone has a Season Pass which can get groups of people in. So next time you go make sure you get a season pass. :) Only $20 if you are over 62, and you get into all the national parks for a year. $80 for a lifetime one. Glad you guys had fun. :)

    Very informative! Gorgeous rock formations! Our guide, Sophie, was knowledgeable, personable and such a joy to be in her tour group. Not only did we learn about Joshua Tree but learned about rock climbing.

    We had taken another park tour with another tour group and this tour is definitely the best- paid $50.00 more for other tour with less time out of van to explore on our own and even less travel time- shout out to Frank and Jason for their extremely personable personalities, their extreme concern for our safety, and all the knowledge and fun they brought to our day. They truly love their jobs and are most interested in assuring that their tour friends leave the tour with beautiful, memorable vibes!-never too many “trees and rocks”, Jason! Look for the $99 tour, friends- Joshua National park Sightseeing Adventure Tour!

    Wonderful visit to Joshua Tree. Our guide (Sophie) was excellent - knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. Her love of the Park was obvious and made our day. We explored different areas of the Park and learned so much - including the skills needed for the rock climbers to scale the boulders. Beautiful vistas were everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Choose this tour! You will not be disappointed. We have been on many scenic excursions and this was among the best. Sophie provides a great experience, with the perfect mixture of personality, knowledge, courtesy, humor and patience. You will learn a lot about Joshua Tree and have fun and get a little exercise doing it.
