Maria was an amazing guide! She pointed out turtles and crabs, and told us where to avoid snakes! She was very patient with all experience levels, and very patient with my children (as well as the adults who were beginners!) It was a beautiful paddle through a very serene maritime forest, and we will be back again for a nighttime kayak tour!

Great first kayak trip for our boys (7 & 9). Friendly and knowledgeable guide. We saw lots of turtles, birds, and a few snakes.

My wife and I are very glad we went on this outing. It's a unique setting and easy water to kayak. Our guide Jalon, a biology major in college, was great and super knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this experience.

The kayak tour was very convenient to find from where we are staying and well organized. Our guide was great and we learned some new facts about the area during the tour. One downside- the river was very muddy and smelled like sulfur, but that was mother nature’s doing!

Liam was our tour guide and he was great! Very personable and made it a point to remember everyone’s names. This tour was great for both experience kayakers and newbies. Getting in an out of the water with kayaks and a large group can be quite time consuming, however, the crew made it extremely fast and efficient! Would for sure go back next time we visit OBX!!!!

We took this tour in July. The weather is very HOT. We picked the 6pm trip hoping it would be cooler. It was. Our guide Rylie was great. We are not beginners at kayaking. We had a nice leisurely paddle. Learned about the area. It was a nice trip.

I loved the guide! He was helpful and professional. However, we saw no wildlife and nothing was mentioned on tge tour about the area and history. Not very interactive but peaceful float down the river.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind and respectful. Did not try to micromanage us experienced kayakers, just let us know where to stop along at our pace. Would definitely recommend at least once.

I had never been in a Kayak previously. The guide gave instructions prior to
starting out; safety was a priority; we saw a large Egret up close and personal;
the guide was a wealth of knowledge about local wildlife and history. It was
a great tour and well worth the price.
