Learn to surf the waves of the Atlantic Ocean during your time in the Outer Banks with this immersive lesson. Join a small group on the shores of Kitty Hawk for an in-depth lesson on surfboards, paddling techniques, pop up, and foot placement. After practicing on the sand, head out into the water to try to catch as many waves as you can while your instructor guides you.

Great lesson — Finn was instructive and patient with us — the girls got some good hang time — would recommend to anyone!
We absolutely loved our surfing lesson with Finn and Lee. Both of them are great instructors and had great insights and advice for us after every run. Highly recommend!
Finn was great and the spot on the beach was perfect for learning! I would absolutely come back anytime.

He is in our Shreducator's Hall of Fame for sure. I remember having in surf camp years ago and now he is all grown up and passing the torch of stoke to others. its a beautiful thing. Thank you for sharing.
Great for someone who wants to try surfing for the first time, and do something fun.
Some swimming experienced required, beginner friendly, Bit pricey for one hour and 1/2 but all good.
Fin is a great instructor very friendly,
the assistant instructors are good as well,
they assist everybody and make sure they were able to try and ride the waves.
Henry is a good kid, he is gonna be an awesome instructor someday.

aside from that if you missed where the group meeting will be, chances are low to get the lesson of the day,
and you may not able to get a refund.
the phone has no voicemail.

Thanks for sharing. We will always give you a refund if we have to cancel the experience for weather or unsafe ocean conditions. As for the app we definitely don't keep up with that. We prefer our contact number of the reservation and booking email you received. Please reach out to us at (252) 261-0145 if you need further assistance. Its always a bit of herding cats getting wetsuits, boards and the whole crew to the beach efficiently. We do our best.

This was the perfect way for my teenagers to try surfing during our stay in Nags Head. They had a great time, and the instructors are so good!
Clark’s radiant positivity and belief in you makes You believe in You. This was the closest I’ve come to a pop up and it was all because of his reassurance, encouragement and direction. Pure sunshine!

The surf lessons were great! There was a little bit of a mix up with some of the reservations in the group, but it all got sorted out in the end. This was very fun!
Fin was our super friendly and informative and supportive instructor with our family of all ages.
Clear short but precise instructions for a "give it a go" session.

Definitely recommend this for anyone new to surfing. My husband and I brought our three teenage boys and we had such a great time! I recommend a wet suite because I am the only one who wore one and I didn't end up with a rash from the surfboard. Also it helps as a buffer against the cold water 🥰
We both have never surfed before, and now we LOVE it!! The instructors helped us SO much!! They were awesome guys!!
Stone was great to work with! I never thought I would be able to stand up on a board, but Stone gave us great instructions and both my husband and I were able to catch a few waves. Definitely worth the money. It was our favorite activity we did in OBX and are now talking about getting our own surfboard 🏄
Experience wasn’t the best, the water was very rough and we were not warned ahead of time. We had a younger child I. Our group and with only one instructor it was not safe for her to be in the water. We were given a brief lesson and then basically said good luck, unlike other places we have been that help you get into the waves.
We had a very good time and our surf instructor was very patient and helpful! Definitely would recommend.
Instructors were great and all 8 in our party had a blast! Ages from 8 to 42 and all were actually surfing within minutes.

The kids said the instructors were very helpful. All the kids had a great time. Only criticisms would be having to go to the business prior to the beach to sign wavers and parking at the beach was tricky. Despite the criticisms they were minor and wouldn't deter me from scheduling again.
My family had a great time and all were able to accurately a wave or two. Water was very cold! Instructors were great. Only complaint I have is that it’s not communicated that you are meeting at a specific location - where ever there’s waves. Call ahead to find out where that may be so you aren’t late. Also plan ahead as parking is limited at beach access.
Absolutely loved the experience! Liam was really patient and helped me catch waves within only minutes into the lesson. Truly never thought I could surf but the instruction I had made it possible. Highly recommend this lesson to anyone interested in getting started surfing!
Keaton and Henry were AMAZING!!!! And so patient with everyone young and old. My kiddos loved it and are begging to go back and surf with the boys again!!! Looking rebooking again this trip! Gosh what am experience! Thank you so so much from this Ohio Mama!!!!
