We booked this excursion and no one was there when we arrived so we didn’t get our kayak rental. We called the office and it went straight to voicemail and the voicemail box was full.

Kitty Hawk kayak was unreasonable hiding behind their “cancellation “ policy in refusing to allow me to switch to a different tour when I explained I thought I signed up for the tour and not rental. Basically they just stole money.

Sounds like you need to read carefully next time. Give us a call so we can try to make this right (252) 261-0145. Other tours are likely full or more expensive from the rental. Hopefully you did get on the water and had a nice time.

My family had a relaxing time kayaking on a beautiful day. We were able to go around 4 miles within our two hour self-guided tour, with all of us going at their own pace. Lots of turtles and two bridges for nice photo ops.

The views on the way was nice, but all equipment is old. The staff was friendly but 2 hours were much for this.

Enjoyed the calm waters and seeing the only covered bridge in the OBX! We only met 2 other travelers on the water and they were both extremely courteous. At first you pass privately owned docks but after just a bit, you get into the quiet with only nature!
