- The cathedral is normally open 9.00am - 4.30pm for audio tours, although it is recommended to avoid Sundays before Noon
- Last entry to the cathedral is normally 5pm - 1 hour before closing
- St Patrick's Cathedral audio tour is available in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French. Kid-friendly self-guided audio tour is in English only
- It is recommended that you bring your own headphones, although disposable headphones can be provided

Beautiful church but our tour didn’t happen because there were weddings booked all afternoon. I asked the tour desk why we were allowed to schedule and they just shrugged their shoulders. Disappointing.

The person in charge of getting us started wasn't at all attentive. The stations were out of order, so it made it difficult to follow. THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE. almost impossible to navigate.

We weren’t allowed to go because mass was in session….all morning. We were turned away and couldn’t come back later due to another tour. Why sell tickets when you know mass will be happening?!? Trying for a refund!

Difficult to find person for audio tour before and after to get and return audio equipment. Restroom difficult to find.

very Disappointed. My family and i paid for a tour for 5 people, we get there at 10:30 Sunday morning and the tour desk was closed bc mass was going on so that’s as far as we got. We couldn’t hang around bc we had reservations for another tour. It was a waste of good money for us!!! If mass is going on you should not sell tickets for that time bc you can’t do it!!

Audio tour not very audible. There was a service going. Between the sermon and the singing I could barely hear the app. Church beautiful and lots of informative plaques to guide you. Don’t need audio.

I’m disappointed as we had a positive experience with Viator the day before. Our guide didn’t show up and I was unable to contact a live person. I emailed Viator later that day and it’s now two days later and still no response. We toured cathedral on our own without the guided tour. Hopefully we get our tour money. It doesn’t cost anything to go into cathedral so you can experience it without the audio guide.

This is NOT a guided tour. It is the Official Audio tour and you are to check in at the tour desk which is at the entrance.

This is an audio tour and there is NO tour guide. You are to go to the gift store and check in. The instructions are on the tickets. They say please go to the gift store and check in to receive your tablet and audio guide. You waited on 5th ave for a tour guide. Nowhere do we describe a live tour guide. You are welcome to use the ticket during your stay. Again we never said there was a tour guide, we said that you need to go to the gift store to check in.

The church its self is very impressive. One of a kind! Iam glad we took the tour. BUT it you have any passes! [Go City/]. Don’t make a reservation. We had purchased a 10 attraction pass of New York. Most requiring reservations and using credit card to hold spot. Worked great. Show your pass upon enter and CC not charged..Not in this case. They refused to credit back our CC. So paid twice.

This tour was operating on September 11 and many passenger came and checked in at the gift store as voucher instructions. We do not have a record that you ever went and checked in at the gift store. We check and you reported a tour guide was a no show. This is a self guided audio tour and the description is clear that there is no guide that will meet you. This is an active cathedral where mass is held daily and we only allow the official audio tour and it will not disturb our patrons.

Absolutely horrible & a complete waste of money!There was no actual tour. The people at the gift shop where we checked in had no information for us & did nothing but give us lanyard badges & said we could walk thru the church just like all the other people and that the tickets didn't give us any other added benefits. And the tour info desk inside the church was closed I guess to due Covid although we weren't informed of that.
As it turned out we didn't take a "tour" & in no way needed to purchase tickets in the 1st place since there was no actual guided tour as we understood when we purchased the tickets.
We didn't even need to have lanyard badges or more importantly we should have been told by your company that we didn't need to purchase tickets at all since we we able to walk thru the church like the hundreds of other tourists who went into the church to walk & look around.
There were no other visitors who displayed lanyards other than my family of 7 & even the security officer at the church entrance told me there was no actual tour due to Covid & said we didn't need to have wasted our $ by purchasing the tickets since we could nothing more than the hundreds of tourists coming in & out.
I should have been advised by your company at the time I purchased our tickets of the situation & that no tickets were actually needed for the 10-15 minutes we walked thru the church, As such we are extremely disappointed & feel very much cheated by your company & request a full refund from either you or the venue tour operators who took our money for no reason!
We spent almost $2,000 on all of our tours with you & had also had one of the tour (911 Museum) closed without our knowledge when we got there which cause us to have to be on the phone with a representative from your company for almost an hour moving several of our remaining tours around to allow us to see the 911 Museum on a totally different day. That day was a disaster, waste of a trip on the subway, and a waste of one our vacation days altogether.
My family was helping celebrating my wife & my 40th wedding anniversary in New York City so all in all we had a very horrible experience with your company & again expect no less than a total refund from you for the St. Patrick's Cathedral your which wasn't an actual tour & which we were deceived when buying our tickets.

No pudimos tener la guía porque había una boda y eso que lo habíamos puesto con horario, la gente no fue muy amable y simplemente decían venga a las 4:00, cuando el horario que tenía era la 1:30, total que mejor perdí mi dinero

La cathédrale est magnifique et doit être visitée absolument mais le tarif proposé est très cher (pour obtenir l'audio guide) sachant que l'on peut visiter la cathédrale gratuitement (sauf la partie derrière le coeur). Du coup l'impression d'avoir payé pour les autres, dommage 😩
