The tour was great! The tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the history. He took the time to show us around the neighborhood and make some good recommendations. All in all, it was a good experience.

My tour guide was friendly and detailed about this historic place. I had a nice time learning about the history of the LGBTQ community.

Joe gave us a very good and detailed tour of the Stonewall Inn/Christopher Street area. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and a very good guide. His departure was a little abrupt, but we did want to say this was a quality tour and worth your tour dollars!

Brilliant experience! A must do walking tour. I have walked this neighbour multiple times over the years and it’s amazing to know the Queer history behind it.

Excellent and interesting history of the LBGTQ community and the area. Brings the Pride movement and museum to life.

Educational and entertaining. Learned a lot about the history and emotional journey of the LGBTQ community in New York and the emergence and relevance of PRIDE
Tour guide was exceptional.

I traveled with my girlfriend and we learned a lot about history of NYC pride. The guide was really kind, but be sure you understand english at a high level because as a non-native speakers it's easy to get lost sometimes. Anyway, it is a great tour

This walking tour was well presented. The tour guide was knowledgeable and shared his excitement on the topic. We saw some great places relevant to the Gay Rights Movement in New York City. I would suggest this tour to anyone visiting the city.
Scott_B, Jul 2024
We had a good tour guide that was helpful and informative. It’s not a ton of walking - you mostly stay in just a couple square blocks. Lasted a little over an hour.
Donna_K, Jun 2024
Small area that we walked in which was nice since it was hot outside. Lots of info about the start of the pride movement and how it affects today's pride. Wish we were in town for the pride parade.

Great tour guide providing lots of historic background information from the start of the gay rights movement. It was an entertaining walk through a lovely neighborhood which we enjoyed a lot. Thanks Joe!
Anna_p, Nov 2023
good experience, knowledgeable guide, first of all fan would do it again with friends saw a lot of sites and learned a lot of history that we did not know about before
Sean_N, Oct 2023
Learned a lot and enjoyed the tour! We enjoyed our tour guide - I can't remember his name at the moment. Take this as a reflection on me rather than him, because I'm just terrible with names and am too lazy to pull it up. Now I'm just making sure to fill Viator's 100 character review requirement, so it gets a bit off topic. Great tour though!
Maria_M, Sep 2023
I can’t recommend the Pride Historical Tour enough - you’ll hear the story of this beautiful movement and learn so much about the Village along the way. Absolutely loved it.
Christopher_P, Sep 2023
So much history in just a few blocks! I really enjoyed learning about the people and places that were so pivotal in the worldwide fight for for gay/human rights. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and did a fantastic job putting all the information in context. I will definitely be recommending this tour to friends/family/random passersby!
Micah_Y, Jul 2023
The tour was a great excursion during our weekend in NYC and Joe our guide brought his A-game to the table. Well worth the money.
Duncan_B, Jul 2023
Our guide was really enthusiastic and friendly. His commentary was fluent and flawless, joining the history to the present, telling the stories of the individuals within the context of the story of the community. A really great experience!
Joel_R, Jul 2023
My wife and I learned so much about the history of the Pride Movement in New York from our tour guide, Joe. It was nice to hear about the community in which the Stonewall Uprising took place and how the pride movement has evolved since the 60's.
Lucille_T, Jul 2023
Such a good walking tour! Super informative and the passion when explaining the sites was amazing!!!
