Joe gave us a very good and detailed tour of the Stonewall Inn/Christopher Street area. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and a very good guide. His departure was a little abrupt, but we did want to say this was a quality tour and worth your tour dollars!

I traveled with my girlfriend and we learned a lot about history of NYC pride. The guide was really kind, but be sure you understand english at a high level because as a non-native speakers it's easy to get lost sometimes. Anyway, it is a great tour

We had a good tour guide that was helpful and informative. It’s not a ton of walking - you mostly stay in just a couple square blocks. Lasted a little over an hour.

Small area that we walked in which was nice since it was hot outside. Lots of info about the start of the pride movement and how it affects today's pride. Wish we were in town for the pride parade.

good experience, knowledgeable guide, first of all fan would do it again with friends saw a lot of sites and learned a lot of history that we did not know about before

    Informative, Friendly, Interesting

    Sean_N, Oct 2023
Learned a lot and enjoyed the tour! We enjoyed our tour guide - I can't remember his name at the moment. Take this as a reflection on me rather than him, because I'm just terrible with names and am too lazy to pull it up. Now I'm just making sure to fill Viator's 100 character review requirement, so it gets a bit off topic. Great tour though!

Worth Going Even In Bad Weather

I can’t recommend the Pride Historical Tour enough - you’ll hear the story of this beautiful movement and learn so much about the Village along the way. Absolutely loved it.

So much history in just a few blocks! I really enjoyed learning about the people and places that were so pivotal in the worldwide fight for for gay/human rights. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and did a fantastic job putting all the information in context. I will definitely be recommending this tour to friends/family/random passersby!

My wife and I learned so much about the history of the Pride Movement in New York from our tour guide, Joe. It was nice to hear about the community in which the Stonewall Uprising took place and how the pride movement has evolved since the 60's.
