You wouldn’t think a sports arena tour would be all that impressive but, the MSG is the exception for sure! Lots of history surrounding it and the architectural information super interesting. Crazy the events it’s held and the vast variety of entertainers who have performed there.
One dig on the experience was that our tour group was big and the guides don’t have mics. Also, there was music and other noises that interfered with the ability to hear. So it was hard to hear or catch all the information.

It really depends on your guide. Ours thought he was an edgy New Yorker but he seemed like an uneducated, obnoxious idiot. He said alright and k every 15 seconds. On top of the fact that we were expecting to see the locker rooms and they were closed for home games.

We had a great time and Jonathan was wonderful tour guide. We went to bars we would have never tried on our own.

Friendly staff at reception/check in. The tour guide was well organized and knowledgable, but he seems a bit rushed and gruff. He was not unfriendly, but he was not warm and engaging either. That said he answered all questions readily and was able to be engaged if we worked at it. We got the information and experience we came to learn.

Tour guide started tour showing historical events of the arena along with historical artifacts that was quite interesting. The 366 Ring is pretty awesome yet we only got to see a month and a half worth. Spent too much time in suite and on bridge making it difficult to enjoy the rest of arena. Didn’t get to see locker room AS advertised even though there was no game being played for several days. First half of tour was interesting but rest was a massive let down.

I've been to a number of behind the scenes tours of everything from Wrigley Field in Chicago to NBC, Disneyworld & Universal Studios. Each time, the big highlights like locker rooms, going into "main areas" that would be ideal photos, entertaining, and historic lessons. Essentially, this tour stayed in public spots. The tour guide, Serena was terrific, brought great energy & knowledge but there just wasn't enough "meat" to substantiate the ticket price or time spent.

Watch out with this. If there is a match on the same day you want a tour, tours start at 12:00 on a 1st come 1st served basis. The booking suggests from 10:30. We were caught out with this as we could not attend after 12:30. We were offered a refund but they said we were outside of the 24hour cancellation period..still waiting for a refund and currently well out of pocket

Got there only to be told tour cancelled due to college basketball game, no updates or warning from viator and disappointed son as we flew from uk for it

When I booked this tour several months prior to the date I scheduled it for, I had trouble accessing the online registration. I called customer service and spoke to an agent who told me I could book the time between 10:00am-noon. I choose an 11:00am tour time. Got up early the day of the tour and caught a train to the city. Walked to MSG and got there approximately 10:40am only to be told tours at MSG do not start until noon. Went across the street to Dunkin because we were told we couldn't wait in the lobby of MSG. I called Viator and spoke to a very condescending man who offered no real explanation other than to tell me it was not up to Viator to set the time of the tour if MSG has their own policies. Returned 11:45am and were told we would have to wait until 12:30pm for a tour. I have used Viator tours numerous times in the past and have never had a bad experience communicating with them. Will think long and hard about using them again.

Very disappointing. You only see the arena and a lounge. I would recommend spending your money on an event at MSG instead of the guided tour.

The tour guide was really good to be honest. I’ve done many stadium tours throughout Europe, but this was just concourse and seating area. Not worth it, but this doesn’t reflect on the tour guide at all

This is such a bad, terrible, horrible tour! Very, very disappointing and disorganized! Tour guide was so impersonable; it was like she wanted us to know how unimportant we were. She made her “announcements” and then walked away leaving us behind. We arrived shortly after tours were scheduled to begin to be told tours wouldn’t begin until noon. We returned before noon to find the line had already formed and we had to wait in line for close to an hour to get our tour scheduled and then waited another 45 minutes for our tour to begin. We wish we had our time and money back; it was more interesting watching the street construction people working in front of the Garden!

The tour itself was great and the tour guide Lawrence was very knowledgeable. The tour provided interesting information and great insight to the Garden. The wait for the tour was a little unorganized, offered no where to sit while waiting and had no restroom facilities

The most memorable parts for me for the experience seeing them in the playoffs. It's me being a long time Knicks fan, Born and raised new yorker and being my second time visiting the garden I had tickets to game same night this has been definitely the best time I will always remember the pictures the artwork, and the history of this historic building. Walking through areas that you may never get to go. I really enjoyed it would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to know about the history. I love being at an event before it begins to enjoy everything.
