We really enjoyed our tour today. It was a small group but Leo was so knowledgeable. I learned so much today that I not only didn’t know about Hamilton but also about NYC. Wish it was a nicer day but we made the most of it.

The Hamilton Musical Walking tour was both entertaining and informational. My 11-year old daughter enjoyed every moment and didn’t complain once of being bored (a minor miracle). We both thoroughly enjoyed our time with Leo he is an amazing guide!

Leo was an amazing guide! This definitely was my favorite tour on our Boston/ NYC trip. So funny and informative! Had a wonderful time and learned so much about our country’s early history!

Highly recommend for fans of the musical and also of American history. Leo was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.

A wealth of knowledge

Karen_B, Jan 2026
The guide had so much knowledge on A.Ham and knew how to integrate the musical at the right spots. It was almost too much information for my 9 year old, but well done.

Leo is the BEST!

Tiffany_V, Dec 2025
Leo was so exceptional from the very beginning. I received a detailed instructions text the night before (themed and all). He was patient, communicative and captivating to listen to for the entire tour. The structure of the tour is so fun, you really realize the historic place you're in as you navigate the streets of New York (while listening to the songs from Hamilton at the same time). My daughter and I couldn't stop talking about what we learned and how much we enjoyed the tour for days afterward. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has seen Hamilton or really, anyone who enjoys history and is looking for something to while visiting NYC. I cannot speak highly enough about Leo and how much we enjoyed spending a few hours with him.

Great Experience

Matt_B, Dec 2025
Our group loved the walking tour. It was recommended by a friend of a friend, and it was perfect. It gave Hamilton history, history of the founding fathers and a general history of lower Manhattan as well. Leo also threw in a few extra pieces of information along the way. He was very engaging. His presentation kept the whole group together. No one was checking phones. They were all locked in on the tour. Not only would I recommend recommended to others, but I plan on coming back and bringing some other family members to do it as well.

This tour was great!...

This tour was great! Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only complaint was that I unfortunately was on crutches and it took a while for the tour guide to realize he needed to slow down so that I could keep up with the group.

So informative and entertaining!

Linda_O, Nov 2025
Leo was a great guide. We learned so much about the lives of Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr as well as their families while visiting historic sites. We highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour!

Hillary_C, Nov 2025
Such a fun tour! I love having the ear piece so we could hear everything so well. Also it was non stop information. Our fantastic tour guide, Leo, continued to talk while we were walking. It was a great combination of history and fun facts about the musical. I adore Hamilton but my husband is less of a musical guy, and he really enjoyed the tour too. Best tour we have taken in NYC, and would recommend Leo over and over again for ANY kind of tour.

What an awesome tour! Leo was our guide and his knowledge in history, musical theater and music in general made for the perfect delivery of a very interesting Hamilton themed tour. Definitely recommend - our 10yo Hamilton fan thoroughly enjoyed it!

Must do if you’re a fan of Hamilton!

Lisa_L, Nov 2025
This tour is a must do if you’re a fan of Hamilton or history! The tour is organized well with the iPad having images and the ear piece playing various songs from the musical at different points and locations. The guide Leo was very knowledgeable about the stories he told and answered questions. The total distance was less than 3 miles and lasted just under 3 hours. This was the perfect cap to our trip after seeing Leslie Odom Jr as A. Burr on Thursday!

Hamilton Fans Must Do!!

Jamie_I, Nov 2025
Must do in NYC for Hamilton fans!! I got tickets to see Hamilton with my niece & decided to do this tour earlier in the day and it made the musical 10 times better!! Leo was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! His knowledge & passion made the experience unforgettable. Thanks Leo!!

Brilliant tour for any Hamilton lovers or those interested in US history

Yanina_D, Oct 2025
Brilliant experience for any Hamilton lover, but also for anyone interested in US history. Chazz, the guide, had encyclopaedic knowledge on the subject, all delivered with energy and enthusiasm, and he knew all the words to the Hamilton raps! He was friendly, professional and approachable and we learnt so much. The tour was an interesting mix of talking, viewing historical places, listening to Hamilton songs and picture and information powerpoints. Definitely worth it.

10 out of 10!!

Traci_J, Oct 2025
I enjoy this tour more than I thought I would. I knew I was going to like it, but I actually LOVED the information that was given. The tour guide, Leo was incredible. I would highly recommend going, especially if you are a Hamilton fan. Leo does a great job of highlighting some of the lyrics. He also has an in-depth knowledge of the area. I love that he pointed out some of the historical inaccuracies of the play and explained why Lin-Manuel Miranda changed some of the history that he did.

Our Birthday Celebrations

Francine_B, Oct 2025
This tour was so enjoyable it totally surpassed our expectations. The tour was a birthday gift for my college granddaughter & my husband, her grandfather. Our tour guide Leo was just amazing! His passion and knowledge along with the music from Hamilton made it so exciting! There were plenty of opportunities to sit as well. Leo really knew his content and you knew that he loved what he was doing. Highly recommend this tour! Viator tours never disappoint-- from Paris, to Belgium and even NYC.

Our tour leader walked at a fairly rapid pace. People who have mobility issues should be aware of this. There were several opportunities to be seated which was great considering the tour was 3 hours.

Amazing tour!

Chazz was an amazing tour guide!! He provided us with so much information and was incredibly entertaining. He had us giggly the entire time. We left the tour wanting to come back for more! Highly recommend!!

Incredibly fascinating and entertaining!!

Marykate_S, Aug 2025
This was our favorite thing we did in New York! Chazz did an incredible job at making the tour educational and FUN. Normally I’m not much of a history person and get bored easily, my husband is the history buff so it’s was supposed to really be for him. But I kept turning to him during the tour saying omg did you hear that? Isn’t that crazy? It is such an impressive feat to make every minute of a 3 hour tour entertaining. But between the facts of Hamiltons real life, the connection to New York and America now, Lin manual Miranda’s writing process, other information on New York landmarks we passed by, we were never bored! He also played plenty of songs from Hamilton for us while we walked to our next stop which helped keep us upbeat. AND he had a mic and ear pieces for us so we never missed a word, unlike a lot of tour groups that walked past us, and he carried an iPad with a ton of photos/videos/maps to illustrate the story he was telling us. Seriously such a fantastic tour!
