Yes, you can see all that the island offers within 2.5-3.0 hours on this tour. Our guide, Letty, was fantastic; however, it was hard to hear her at times. She does stop the golf cart often to explain the sites, let you take pictures, and gives fun and unique information. You’ll see all of the Wrigley mansions from the outside, learn about where the Chicago Cubs trained for 20 years, see the schools, homes on the island, and beautiful greenery. Avalon is extremely small - we were expecting something much larger and commercialized, but it’s a small, quaint city with very nice people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One last thing that is good to know is that cruise ships stop at Avalon at least once a week. Thankfully, we weren’t there at the same time as a cruise ship because it would have been very difficult to shop and see everything with an additional 3000-6000 people.

The tour would
Have been better if we could have gone inside the town streets more not just in the electrical power plant and warehouse supplies delivery area along side the ocean
Also wanted to see inside the casino building and its architecture but she skipped it
Tour was not the full 2 hours as planned since we didn’t stop at the iconic building

Our driver/guide was on time and communicated our pick up location before arriving. Told us about the history of the island and the Wrigley family connection. Stopped at many sights and offered shopping drop off or Cruise ship tender pier. Would recommend.

Letty was FANTASTIC! She picked us up from our hotel as requested when booking. She took us around Avalon and spoke about the history and what we were seeing. She stopped along the way for photo stops and to make it easier to hear what she was saying. She made recommendations of restaurants and shops. She was very thorough. She dropped us off downtown which we had requested so we could grab lunch before picking up our afternoon tour.
