I had the most incredible experience on the Guided Whale Watching tour in Long Beach! We were lucky enough to see pods of dolphins, a gray whale, and even a humpback whale—all in one trip. Watching these animals in their natural habitat was truly awe-inspiring. They are so majestic that it’s hard to find the right words to describe the feeling.
The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish, and it’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time. I would absolutely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable ocean adventure.
Special shout-out to Zack, our guide (I hope I have the correct name - ir was it Jack or Nick?) - he did a great job! Friday, 1/30 Noon cruise.

As a first time experience it was really fun! Enjoyed the ocean and glad we got to see whales & dolphins. Totally worth it! I would suggest taking the earliest time, thats when they feed & are on top of the water 👍.

Excellent experience! The aquarium guide was knowledgeable and the crew were welcoming and made every effort to ensure we saw whales, dolphins and a sea lion. It was amazing!

This was an amazing excursion, the boat was clean and staff was very kind. The best part we saw a mother whale with her baby. Lots and lots of dolphins, for me that was the best part.

Try to sit in front for the best view. We were able to see both dolphins and a whale. Get there early and enjoy the ride.

April was a great time to visit. We saw so many dolphins and whales. The tour guides did their best in making sure we all had a whale watching experience. Will definitely do it again!!!

Very enjoyable cruise. We saw dolphins as soon as we left the harbour, and saw fin whales once we got further out. We followed them around for the next hour or more, so had several sightings and photo opportunities.

Lovely boat ride, organised and knowledgeable! Clearly the success of this trip is if you see whales
or dolphins! We saw a couple of dolphins and a grey whale but not enough to be able to photograph or see in any detail. Obviously this is down to luck but definitely worth a try!

The Captain knew exactly where to go for the best chance of seeing whales. We saw 2 sperm whales and a pod of about 50 dolphins. It was a great experience!

The whale watching experience is not guarantee and available for a few minutes. Even during a sunny day, consider wearing a sweater or light jacket particularly if you are taking the 9:00am time tour.

Don’t get to excited and expect to see alot of whales or dolphins it’s a give or take. The ride going out was great thanks to the weather and the tour guides were great

Crew were lovely and very experienced. The Captain spotted a pod of dolphins and headed out to them. Hundreds of dolphins then raced alongside the boat for about 15 minutes. One of the best things I have ever seen

Even though we only saw a few whales during our trip, the experience was still great thanks to the amazing host. He was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly passionate about marine life. He kept everyone engaged and made sure we still had a memorable time out on the water. A fun experience overall and definitely worth doing.

We saw several dolphin and whales , a large colony of sea lion on rocks.
Our Guide explained behaviors clearly and make sure everyone got great view without disturbing animal. The boat was clean and stable, and the crew helped us with Photos.
I definitely recommend and I will book again.50/50

Incredible experience!! We were out at sea for probably an hour before we spotted grey whales but patience paid off; we saw 8-10 whales as well as a pair mating! The catamaran was spotless, the guides provided fun facts during the tour, and there was food and drinks available for purchase. Recommend bringing a jacket as it does get chilly.

You might not necessarily see a whale up close, that's not something the guides can control. Try to be smart about when you book it so that you can see your favorite whale species when their migration pattern lands them in Long Beach. Also, it was 80° on land, but much cooler at sea. No matter how hot it is, BRING A COAT!

This whale watching tour was great. We saw grey whales several times. There were educators who shared interesting facts and information about sea life throughout the trip. The boat was clean. It was a bit chilly on the water, so I’d advise others to take a jacket if going during the winter.

Wonderful experience. Relaxing and enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to see grey whales mating which was a truly unique experience. Spotted fin whales and bottle nose dolphins multiple times.

The staff did not open the ticket booth on time (8:00 am) when customers are required to be present an hour earlier. We didn’t know if we were in the right place even though the ticket booth was clearly there. 10-15 minutes later two staff members showed up.

Beautiful day on the ocean… enjoyed the sunshine and vies even if we wouldn’t have experienced sightings. We enjoyed watching a humpback whale and saw a raft of sea lions!
