It is advertised as a 24 hour tour but there are no tours after 4:30pm. I lost my money. I was very disappointed 😞

The rides from Beverly Gardens (Also not worth it) are every hour and they only run to the beach until 3:15. And the red loop only runs till 455. I wasn't aware of that when I bought the tickets. Would have just taken the city bus and skipped the whole thing.

Went to bus stop outside aquarium at Long Island to pick up bus and all changed due to car racing soon, closing off streets, erecting crowd stands etc. Only temporary, I presume until after car racing finished but when sort refund supplier said no such thing as Aquarium at or near Long Island. Many cruise travellers had same problem and we wished each other good luck in getting refund. Tried to ring contact supplier but not able to. Disgraceful. Been with Viator for years with travelling the world. This worst experience. Shocking. Not Viator’s fault I Guess(?) but would have been appropriate to send warning about changed street conditions.

Make the Big Red Bus a part of your experience while in Los Angeles as it is the best way to navigate the city. Hop on Hop off. Lots of sights , attractions and beautiful beaches.

Bus very slow and very crowded. There’s really not much to see from the bus. Took a long time to get from one stop to the next.

This worst big bus we have ever experienced! I felt it was a complete waste of money. There were not enough buses on the routes and the delays in between shuttles were long. We used uber instead of waiting for the bus. Will never recommend big bus in Las Angeles to any one.

The tour had dull taped commentary. There must be thousands of tales about this legendary city , but the dialogue revealed very few. The driver is not involved and the stops are often difficult to identify. It was just a very dull trip. Additionally, we did have rain which is often unpredictable, but often threatening. The small cover over the top seating does not cover the front seats at all. Then the inside has sun shading on the windows so the visibility is very poor. Also, and very important, the cover over the top is for sun shading only. It is not water proof! The only part of the tour that was professional and pleasant were the drivers. They were helpful when asked.

I bought 3 tickets the night before. I email them asking about the meeting point. In short, I didn’t get information about the meeting point near our hotel. So we didn’t use the tickets!!! My friend from Indonesia and Tenesses didn’t have enough time to wait for information from Viator. Unhappy experiences.

Great Big Bus tour of LA...it was a rainy day so easy to spend time on the bus. Suggest they use "rainx" or something on the lower level windows to see out on rainy days (realize there are few of those days in LA but still a little prep). LA traffic is what it is...but didn't feel it impacted or delayed our tour as noted in other reviews.

Wait time for buses is very long. If you’re not listening on the earphones you won’t know when you are at a stop or even what stop it is. We’ve done hop on-hop off all over the US and the world and this was the worst. Only bright spot is that we got to drive around cheaper than if we were using Uber.

If you plan to hop on some place other than Hollywood blvd. Good luck! You could be waiting for a very long time. You would do better catching bus at a well known spot on Hollywood Boulevard. We Ubered to the comedy store because it was the closest location to us. There is no signage for bus pickup. We Huns around that area for about 20 mins and then walked to the closest bar because we all needed a/c and something cold. Never have been to LA would have been nice to more communication. At pick up stops. Never found bus. Complete waste of money for us. Pre paid on line. Just ended up uber to where we wanted to go.

Wasn’t a very nice experience
The app is not accurate at all. Headphones wasn’t functioning
The blue loop service ends super early.
Lots of time in the bus.
Pickups are every 1 hour not every 30-45 minutes.
Over all i don’t recommend it and it was waste of time and money.

I give this review 3 stars because the Yellow bus to Santa Monica had no AC. This is our 3rd trip to LA. LA traffic is horrible.; all the freeways in and out of LA are always backed up; add 2hrs to your litenrary for traffic delays if you're going to be staying outside of LA. Plan your itinerary BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR LA. Start your sightseeing by 10am and add a day to relax from doing any tours; your body will thank you.
You'll need at least 5 days to really enjoy the sightseeing, including your rest day, preferably after your 2nd day.
LA in August is still very hot...sunscreen is a must!!
Lastly, be very patient and if you're driving on the freeways, be very calm and focused; driving on the freeways is NOT for the faint of heart.
Getting in to LAX on your way home requires you to add 2 extra hours prior to your departure time...trust me!!
LA is a cool place and unless you're going to do more than 4 days, you need to plan your itinerary very carefully...decide where you want to go and what you want to see and stick to it.
Lastly, if you like spicy chicken, go to Dave's Hot Chicken and try eating the "Reaper"... I dare you :) Enjoy your trip to LA.

Due to the fact that the bus is naturally open to the outside air, it acts more as an airflow and only mildly cools the downstairs. Buses only run every 45 minutes which is too long an interval, most folks on our bus had troubles with the ear piece speakers not working well and the bus did not keep up with narration.

There is nothing to tell you what stop you are coming up on. E we got up to exit the bus and the bus driver took off and when we got down the stairs she said “you didn’t get up in time I have already serviced the stop”
She is the rudest person in customer service I have ever met.

We never got on the bus. We were at Crypto Area listed as a stop. No one there knew anything about it. No signs. Tried to call company, wrong number listed. Two different companies advertised Hop on Hop Off tours.Took Ubers to sites instead which was great. Wasted $$$ on the tour.
