Paddle along the Colorado River past a 1920s-era government project, the Black Canyon, and finally Emerald Cave. Traveling on a kayak allows you to access remote, hard-to-reach nature spots without getting lost as a guide takes care of the navigation. - The Emerald Cave is just a small cutout of the mountain for a great photo op!
- If you select self drive option, you will be meeting us at the marina. Have reliable transportation to meet us, there is NO cell service at the marina to call a ride share.
- If you have chosen and paid for this tour with shuttle, pick up times are: Venetian 110 minutes before, Bellagio 100 minutes before and Mandalay Bay 90 minutes before your tour start time
- Message us if you need a 2XL or larger life vest
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 48 travelers

We had an amazing day. Tehya was fabulous. She was so friendly, patient and full of knowledge about the area and kayaking. You can tell she truly loves what she does which comes out in how she shares her knowledge and experiences or the area. I would definitely recommend her for your kayaking experience.

It was my first time on a kayak and all I can say is that it was one of the best experiences in my life with my family also enjoying the whole day, I truly appreciate everyone from the stuff especially (FEITH) who was a wonderful instructor, she was amazing the whole time and nothing but a nice person with everyone.

Faith was an amazing guide. Not only did we have a great experience kayaking, Faith dressed as a mermaid and sang to us at the Emerald cave. The lunch was spectacular as well.

We were at first concerned about the heat (100+ degrees) but once on the water it was much cooler and we had a great time. Our guide Ryan did an excellent job of guiding us to and from the Emerald cave and shared a lot of interesting facts along the way. Highly recommend this experience.

What a great excursion! It was a pretty hot day when we went, definitely load up on the sunscreen maybe bring a light weight surfing shirt for protection. Be sure to pack water shoes as you will be in and out of the water a few times.

Overall, the kayak trip was spectacular and absolutely something I would recommend, but there are a few things I wish I knew going in.
With three young kids, the three-hour tour ended up being a little longer than expected. They did great, but it was a lot of time in the sun and on the water. If you go, I would definitely wear a long-sleeve shirt, bring sunscreen, and keep it with you because it gets hot quickly.
The cave itself was nice, but honestly a little anticlimactic after all the buildup. The experience of kayaking the river, being out on the water, and seeing the scenery was the highlight more than the cave itself.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, but at times she was so far ahead of us that it made the pace a little uncomfortable, especially with kids trying to keep up.
A few things to know: there is no cell service, the water is cold, and you should be prepared for the heat.
Would I do it again? Absolutely as an adult or with older kids. It’s a great experience and definitely worth doing. With younger kids, I’m not sure it’s something they would choose to do again, but I’m still glad we made the memory.

Faith was great and made it fun, emerald cave was smaller than expected from the online photos we thought we would actually be going through a cave but it’s more a den. Still beautiful and well worth it!!❤️

It was a wonderful experience our tour guide is what made it special, Thea let us swim and take wonderful pictures as well as very knowledgeable about the water and cave and the overall environment . We were able to see the sheep and crawfish. She also let us take a quick pit stop and get some sand. It was overall amazing. I would definitely recommend !!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were running late and even missed the exit to get into the meeting area and they still waited for us. The guide Octavio was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made sure to check in with every single guest to make sure they were alright during the trip. He brought ice cold water and snacks which was clutch since it was 110F outside. Sean and Kristin were also very helpful and made sure to keep in touch with us about the trip and what we needed to know beforehand.

Our guide was Tehya and she was fantastic! I had two kids with me so one of them was paired with our guide. The kids had a blast and really enjoyed the experience. We tried to do many activities on and off the strip and this was a great decision. We drove separate and it was an hour trip… very manageable. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful guide, Jeff, who was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun, especially during our strenuous paddle back into the wind. We saw wild big horn sheep on the river, and tamer one in Boulder City.
The van was extremely comfortable, and the snacks and water were greatly appreciated.
We’ve used Viator around the world to book excursions and have never been disappointed. As they say at Nike, “Just Do It!”

Tehya was wonderful. I was a little nervous as a woman traveling alone but the experience was even better than I expected. I needed a little quiet time and a nature break from the lights of Vegas on this trip and kayaking was perfect. Highly recommend. Will take another trip with this company next time I am in town.
