An unforgettable 12-mile kayaking adventure! It was a challenge, but with great company, and excellent guidance I could push through to the finishThe tour was well-organized and filled with adventure. The guide, Ryan, was extremely knowledgeable and provided an informative yet fun experience. We explored stunning beaches, relaxed in beautiful hot springs, and even enjoyed a man-made sauna—such a unique touch! A huge shoutout to Aaron and Faith for seamless transportation, making the day stress-free. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and well-guided Hoover Dam adventure

Beautiful Views with an Awesome Guide (Ryan Shout Out!)

We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to share this adventure with an extremely knowledgeable and awesome guide, Ryan. We were also lucky to have gone on a day when the river wasn't especially busy so I was able to capture pictures like the one I shared of the water smooth as glass and beautifully reflective. Ryan was great! He was very helpful and the perfect guide. My husband enjoyed our lunch break and said it was one of the better meals we had during our to trip to Las Vegas (ha ha). This tour takes effort, there is no current in the river to speak of so you are only moving by your own power - you need to know that because miles 1-5 might seem easy enough but by mile 10 it begins to feels as if you'll never make it (at least that is how my husband was feeling). We are experienced kayakers - we've done ocean kayaking, river kayaking, eco-tours you name it but moving a tandem kayak for 12 miles with the wind working against you was no easy task. Was it impossible? No, but the description of 'active paddling' could also say "constant paddling". Do I recommend it? YES, it was a beautiful experience and the scenery is lovely. Would I sign up for another 12 miles? I'm not sure - this may be a "once is enough" event for us. Being "out of our element" in a near zero humidity dessert was an adjustment that took a toll on our allergies, our skin and bodies. If we were to do this again, we would likely wait until the cooler months when the heat isn't so bad and perhaps our performance would improve significantly - at least that's what I would like to believe. At any rate, I can't say enough good things about Ryan - he was polite and kind to two older people who weren't as agile on the water as we expected to be - we did "okay" but Ryan deserves a huge Thank You for his guidance and patience - he certainly made our trip enjoyable and* even gave us some "insider information" on where we could see a herd of bighorn sheep after our day on the water (which we did and enjoyed very much!).
