We had beautiful weather. The kayaking was relaxing but also a bit of a workout, so we felt very rewarded when we got back. The on-site team was so friendly and amazing, it made our whole trip extra fun!

Perfect day on the water with older kids

This was SO fun!! I took my sons, 15 and 12 years old, we all got individual kayaks and went for 1 hour. That was the perfect time for us. The tide was just coming in when we went at 4pm and we paddled against the tide on the way out so we could move with the tide on our way back (knowing we’d be more tired on the way back) and I’m so glad we did! It felt just like a lazy river ride on the way back in! So much to see and the water was pretty calm, even paddling against the tide. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Kayak Tour

Loved going at our own pace on the self guided kayak tour. We were able to take in all the sights from architecture to vegetation and wildlife. We will do this again on our next visit.

Didn't see a lot of Mangrove trails to kayak down. Not a lot of big boats for houses in that part of the Causeway

We have 3 different routes and not all have Mangroves. Sorry for not pointing you in the right direction. You may also want to try our Guided Tour! Hope we can get to 5 stars next time!

Loved the easy paced kayaking through Wilton Manor. Not the most interesting homes until you get closer to the bridge. I enjoyed the two hour ride, but it was too long for my husband. He's not much of a kayaker.

Agreed, you should enjoy Kayaking. We have 3 different routes at that location and another location at the Bonnet House that has the World Famous Venice of America Canals with Mega-Yachts and Huge Mansions. You should try that one if bigger luxurious homes is what you prefer. Thanks for coming!

We had an amazing time with our family of 6. Checking was smooth and we were on our way within minutes. No problems whatsoever. It definitely wad a workout but we saw beautiful houses and wildlife. Would definitely recommend

Kayaking

I enjoyed my time spent kayaking with my ten year old. We both were first-timers. The process was easy. As soon as we got to the location, I signed the waiver and we were on the kayak. We did not have a guide, but the staff gave us information on where we can go. The weather was perfect. We stayed close by. The views were of beautiful homes. We saw some iguanas, boats, dogs, and fish. We had a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music as we paddled. I would differently recommend others to visit.

They called us to ask if we would come in early, as it was New Year’s Eve and they were closing earlier than normal. We got there as early as we could, but we booked a two hour block and had just over an hour and a half. Would have liked to be comped a couple of waters or something as they did not offer to refund any portion of the unused time. They did offer to give us a free half hour but we’re going home so won’t be able to use it. They were pleasant enough.

Hello, we always aim for a 5 star review and we likely could have stayed open an extra 30 minutes to have made that happen. On the flip side, sometimes I feel the importance of allowing my team to enjoy a Holiday with family and it seems doing that hindered your experience. Was The First Time For Me...

Was The First Time For Me An My Partner & We Did The Self Guide Tour. i Understand It’s Self Guided But Since We River Had Two - Three Different Route You Could Take , Sign Would’ve Been Helpful Of Which Way To Paddle . We Ended Up Being An Extra 1Hour In The Water Due To Us Just Traveling With Out Minds Instead Of Going On Signs , Which There Where Signs That Showed The Block Area But Nothing Helpful To Lead Us Bach To The Doc.

Hi First Timers. We always suggest our Guided Tours if you are uncomfortable navigating yourselves. We are not allowed to put up signs along waterways that have private residences and commercial properties that we do not own. But the way back is the same way you went out in reverse. That part is up to you. For future reference, there are apps and maps on your phone that can help you find your way just about anywhere. Sorry, we got the poor review for that, but we respect your decision to share with others that it is possible for anyone to get lost if you are one needing signs. Let us know next time and we try to teach you how to use your phone to avoid getting lost.

This was one of the most relaxing activities I’ve ever done. It was my first time kayaking yet the guy at the shop have me an impromptu lesson to make me more comfortable. The water was beautiful and the weather was nice. Highly recommend this company.

For some reason I thought I saw on here that you would have a guide or instructor. But I does say self navigated. I was going off of the information on their site. However, it was a good experience for a first timer. It was a workout and with the boats coming in and out you really have to get the hang of it or you might get hit.

We have 3 routes and 1 does have a little more trffic and especially on weekends. Try a weekday and go the opposite direction next time. Much calmer and no boat traffic. We do offer Guided Tours that include pics and we enhance your skills.
