Both massage therapist were out of this world amazing! The only down side was hearing traffic due to it being behind a strip mall. That was kind of a bummer to me. But the massage was worth it all

Hi Sara, glad you enjoyed your massage! Thanks for the feedback! Sound management is always being tweaked and improved in our urban oasis garden setting. Most of the time our clients are quite chilled out listening to the eclectic music, the wind chimes, the rustling of the bamboo, & our local birds & wildlife. Other people hear cars or people far off in the distance & focus in on that. If you are from NYC... it probably sound's like you are in a jungle... and if you are from the country... it sounds more like you are in the big city. When my wife goes back to rural Georgia... she cant sleep for the first few days :). Hope to see you again soon! We do have a great indoors room with a view of the garden as well... maybe you try that option for next time :). Mark

Relaxation maximized

Our couples massage at Planet massage was great. The team did an awesome job of communicating the expectations ahead of our appointment. They were very accommodating and flexible with making sure we got the outdoor massage even though the weather was unpredictable this weekend. We did get eaten by mosquitoes during the massage so if they can find a way(netting, repellents) to prevent that from happening everything would be perfect.

Thanks for the kind words Deatria, I'm so glad the weather gods were accommodating to you, It was questionable until the last minute. I think your therapists actually did a rain go away dance earlier :). As for those dreaded mozzies and no see ums ... well, it's always challenging in Florida, though we certainly do have a few options for next time. South Florida was essentially a swamp before it was filled in and paved over. We've done our best to bring some of that tropical feel back to the city. Still the pests are problematic, especially during certain times of the year and following heavy rains. Both the mozzies & no-see-ums get worse early morning & early evening, and during summer... that's the only time it's cool enough to enjoy the special space. We are committed to keeping garden as organic as possible, so we try stick to natural/ish repellants as much as we can & we do spray regularly. We've planted some plants that are supposed to repel them as well, maybe they need more time to work? We always have personal bug spray on hand for those people who tend to get bit in addition and it is highly recommended for those who tend to get bit. ( I'm the guy who can be outside all day, every day and not get bit. Others walk outside for 5 minutes and look like they were mauled by wild animals). The nuclear option... is the screening. Our gazebo does offer screening, but realizing our clients have come to the outdoors to be in the outdoors, it isn't used often as most people find it takes away from the ambiance, cool breezes etc. Looking forward to seeing you again next time, we are about to come into the very best time of year for an outdoor experience!
