So much fun! Totally worth the time spent. Manny is so knowledgeable not only about the Bongos but the history around the Bongos. We learned so much and laughed so hard.

Manny was great. Not only did he actually teach us some basic conga beats that we could use for any music, but he shared many great stories about the history of the drum and the music, as well as his own life. We truly enjoyed it. And in case you are al wondering, no you do not need any musical background. And it was so much fun to play along with some familiar music.

My sister, cousin, and I took a conga lesson yesterday, and it was a blast! Our instructor was not just patient but a conga wizard. My cousin, who flew in from Pennsylvania, is now convinced we’re destined to form the next great conga band and go on tour! Seriously, we’re all ready to quit our day jobs and hit the road. If you want to laugh, learn, and maybe start your own conga band, these lessons are a must! 10/10 recommend .Best experience.

Manny was absolutely phenomenal. Our family had such a fantastic time learning a new skill. We thought we were unmusical, but Manny teaches the congas in such a simple, easy-to-learn style that by the end of it, we were all beating the congas accurately which gave us all great confidence and had us laughing so hard together with delight and fun! I took a leap of faith and decided to come on an adventure trip by myself. I love music and I have always liked the way drums sound so I decided to take the class. This class was AMAZING! His knowledge of the history and the love he has for the drums and music is beautiful. He taught me how to read notes and the different techniques other cultures play. He not only shared his story with me but he helped me create my own by learning how to play them. I Definitely recommend this class! Thank you so much for being so kind and blessing me 🙏🏽

Drumming is a great workout for your brain and actually can make you smarter because when you drum you access your entire brain (both left and right cerebral hemispheres).
We took this class to explore the neuroscience behind the beat.
Little did we know that the 'Rhythm Was Gonna Get Us'!!!
Manny is the best teacher!
In the class we learned how to read notes and hand drumming techniques utilizing parts of our hands.
Class is truly an audience participant show as in record time we were drumming to the most popular musical genres.
