A:You will meet directly at the Everglades Sawgrass Recreation Park. You may also upgrade to include round-trip transportation from central Miami (either 305 Lincoln Road OR Bayside Marketplace.) Be sure to select the appropriate tour option if you wish to include transportation.

Pros: Affordable airboat tour of Everglades. Easy to find as it is right at the guest office of the Sawgrass Recreational Center. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: we have not seen any alligators 🐊 in the wild although our captain tried to spot some. Kids were excited to pet the baby alligators that were supposed to be in the zoo, but the closest show was more than 1.5 hours away so we did not wait.
Overall it was a nice speedy ride on the airboat and a little zoological center that’s available afterwards. It was worth the $39/person we spent (as opposed to $125/person private boats charge), but I probably would not want to see it again.

We got a text with the wrong address where to meet …there was no one to contact about meeting up in the email it is very confusing and no refunds or responses this is a scam

The correct check-in location is listed on the voucher and booking confirmation, where there is a gift shop and ticket office at the entrance where guests check in for the Everglades airboat ride and wildlife show. Many guests successfully check in there each day using the instructions provided.
If there was any confusion with a map pin or directions, the staff at the ticket office are available to assist guests upon arrival.

Above all else, get ear muffs or ear plugs. The airboats are extremely loud. Beware smells you will be in the wild, animals smell.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and best part, we got to see a gator, blue herons and a few other birds. Teenagers enjoyed the animal encounters - we got to hold a baby gator, touch a ball python and a turtle. Kat, the animal care taker was very patient and answered a lot of questions.

Viator accepted our booking on Christmas Day when the Everglades airboat tour & wildlife show was closed. We went all the way there. Unfortunate Viator representative kept mentioning that the tour is on but after waiting for a long time when we called the Everglades phone, we were told they are closed for Christmas & they had mentioned all their vendors about this a long ago. Viator should never have accepted our booking in the first place. This was a bad experience & we are waiting for our refund.

It was very anti climactic. The airboat ride was very “commercial” and went exactly a few hundred yards. The little walk around area was a little hinky and just kind of bland. This is really just an over priced tourist trap. On the plus side the people who worked there were all very friendly.
If you want to really see the Everglades I would just spend a few hundred bucks on a private air boat tour but if you are looking for a 20-30 minute pretty bland air boat ride around the canal and power lines and another 20-30 minutes at most to walk around and see some reptiles then this is definitely the place for you. Once again on the positive side all of the staff were super friendly so a huge thank you to them.

This was absolutely a great time, my kids loved it. We had Captain Nick and he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw an alligator and some wild birds. We also loved spending time in the exhibit after our airboat ride! We pet an alligator, and a box turtle.

When they say that the boat is at 2:PM....it is really at 2:30 so plan accordingly. They want to give you time in the gift shop

It's was really cool experience. The only suggestion I would say is the guide we had was nice but very hum drum! And when we saw the alligators at the exhibit and talked to us about the big alligators another very hum drum worker. I feel they should be excited to work for such great place. The people inside the shop were awesome! Just a few little things but would definitely go back!

First off I thought going to the Everglades we would see plenty of alligators and crocs but we only saw two which one was by the docking area that’s I’m sure they feed and one in another area that they claim was nesting so if she is nesting a lot of other crocs and gators would too and they said all of the animals migrated another way so if that’s the case why take people money if we not going to see anything. He also lied and said it was a alligator in front of us which everybody was looking for it and it wasn’t there so he then proceeded to lie and say it went under no it wasn’t never there they just want u too feel like u was going to see something but you never will it’s not worth the money

Go early, if you can. Nice staff. Make time for the exhibits afterwards (or before). They were interesting and the staff members there were exceptional! They explained and shared lots of interesting info about all the animals in the exhibits.

Wasn't sure what to expect because we chose to drive ourselves instead of taking the tour bus out to the location. We got there eventually which was part of the adventure. It was overcast so we weren't sure what to expect.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They got our reservation sorted out quickly, even though there were a couple of hiccups in the system that we needed to navigate. Glad we made the reservations ahead of time because they were sold out that day.
This experience was part zoo visit and part safari. I would recommend taking the zoo portion first so you have an idea of what you are looking for. When you go on the safari portion (the airboat ride), it is a little like "Where's Waldo" for gators and other animals. It was much easier to spot things in the grass and in the trees if you had seen them first outside of their native element.
The captain of our boat was fun. Part comedian and part biology teacher. Glad we made the effort to go, even with the weather conditions not being optimal.

No gator seen at all. Only a tour on the water with the loudest motor you ever heard. Tour guide showed us 1 bird from far far away and talk about it a lil thats all.

We really enjoyed the boat tour. The weather was perfect. The animal exhibit was great! The guides for the animal exhibit were amazing. They shared so much information about the animals, which was very entertaining. We had an opportunity to pet the baby alligator. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.

Getting to the location is slightly tricky, be sure to follow the email instructions for the address. The staff was very kind and welcoming to our trip. We got on the boat quickly and easily, Captain Jimmy was very informative about the wildlife and area we rode the airboat through. Definitely a great tour and would do it again!

The overall experience was not very good. The tour guide on the airboat didn’t really teach us anything just asked if we had questions. The alligator show WAS NOT amusing at all! Did not interact with the gator just talked for like 10 minutes!

We do not allow animal interactions for humanitarian reasons. The Alligators are endangered and for their survival we must be very cautious.

The fan boat ride and entire excursion was cancelled prior to us arriving. We got all the way to Miami before we were informed. I’ve yet to receive a response in regards to my full refund as well. I’m sure such things happen, but there should be some sort of notification when events are cancelled for the day.
