    An Extraordinary Experience-GoForIt

    I did a private tour with Todd on November 5, 2024 and it was one to remember. I consider myself an advanced beginner who experienced truly dark sky for the first time with Todd. He quickly got a sense of where I was in my photography journey and readily shared his knowledge. His ability to find open sky was particularly appreciated and we were fortunate to be lucky. His ability to convey technical information that matters was greatly appreciated. As we all know, there are tons of apps and tons of camera settings, but it’s nice to know what’s important and what’s not. It was also a joy to make a personal connection with Todd between rounds two, three, and four of northern lights as we exchanged life stories. I began the evening not knowing how to take Aurora photos and ended the evening very much an Aurora photographer. I couldn’t be more pleased I got to experience this. It really set me up for a few nights of picture taking and the knowledge I gained was priceless. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about Aurora photography, indeed, any type of photography. I can’t wait to talk to him about “seeing the light”.Todd’s communication throughout the process was excellent and the experience exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to following up with him on my photography journey.
