I didn’t realize the 4.5-hour excursion included about 2 hours of roundtrip travel time to and from Crab Island, which was a bit of a letdown, especially since the seating consists of hard benches. There is a small section up front with padded seats, but it only accommodates about four people.
That said, the crew was AMAZING! Very friendly and helpful. I also loved that there were plenty of vendors offering a wide variety of food, drinks, and frozen treats.

Captain Morgan and the deckhands were awesome. It’s BYOB and food which is nice, but on Crab Island they sell food (slightly overpriced) but NO alcohol. Capt. Morgan played great music pop hits, and the vibe was great. About an hour 15 to get to crab island, and the same back, but make sure to bring towels and maybe a sweatshirt as it can be slightly chilly on the way back! Floaty toys were also amazing and the paddle board! Seriously a great excursion!

Long boat ride from Harbor Marina. However, there was great music and an entertaining crew. We enjoyed the experience. Caution that there are jellyfish late Summer and our kiddo got stung.

My wife and I were visiting Destin and booked Sun Venture Cruises for the Crab Island tour in last minute. After seeing other tours we decided to go go with sol y Luna. After our arrival we forgot our towels in the car so Captain Morgan asap had Patrick take me to my car in a VIP gulf car to go get the towels. My wife was so happy ❤️. We had Captain Morgan and Patrick take us out today and they made our trip AMAZING!!! They were so fun and knowledgeable. They kept us safe and were very accommodating. They were able to tell us about all the options and vendors on Crab Island and they knew and recommended other vendors by name. We had such a great time! This is our second year visiting crab island and Captain Morgan and Patrick made it most memorable! The spot was amazing. Don’t wait any longer book with sun ventured tourist and assure Captain Morgan and crew are available. It’s always five o clock somewhere “ hohoho pirate life ! Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .

The boat ride there took FOREVER! Over an hour. That was a waste of time. Other than that, boat was clean, staff were AMAZING. Would definitely recommend choosing a launch location closer to crab island, unless you are looking for a long boat ride.

Super clean, nice boat. Very nice Captain and 2 helpers made sure everyone had a good time. Takes about an hour each way to get to Crab Island and then you are there for 2 hours. Smooth ride that day, not bumpy at all. They do not sell food or drinks on the boat, but there are vendors once you arrive there. Prices are pretty high. I suggest you bring a small cooler and snacks. Bring a noodle or float if you want that, because they didn’t provide that. Water is shallow and you can stand up easily unless you are very short. They blast fun music over the speakers. Diverse group of guests and everyone had a great time from children to senior citizens.

The trip was a lot of fun even though we had a late start from a rain storm. The weather was great after the storm and capt Morgan made sure we got the most out of the trip even with the late start. Would definitely book again!

Captain Morgan, Andy and Chris were all amazing! The boat was awesome and Crab Island did not disappoint. The only recommendation would be to have more floats for the guests.
