After arriving at Heron Harbor, make your way down the boardwalk and locate the SunVenture Cruises kiosk. A crew member will be there to check you in and direct you to your boat. Onsite parking is owned by a 3rd party so please be cognizant of paid parking signs and instructions.

This was so fun. 1000x better than the beach.
The boat takes you to the big sand bar, where you can frolic in waist-deep water. There are vendors selling food and souvenirs. You can go exploring or stay close to the boat. We just lounged in the water. Also it's BYOB.
The captain, Chris and his mate Alex were super helpful. I would recommend going on their boat every time. They were knowledgeable and super friendly.
Overall, this was worth every cent.

Great experience, allow time for travel to the Harbor, parking and walking to dock to check in. If you want an all day experience book 2 back to back excursions out. Look at times for high tide to get the prettiest water.

Amazong experience!!! Dawson and Patrick were seriously the best Captains!! We had so much fun and we can't wait to visit again to do Crab Island again! It rained a little and honestly it made it so much more fun LOL

You can bring your towels, ice chest with drinks, even Alcohol- they don’t sell any alcohol/beer out on the water or the boat so BYOB! You can even bring food. It’s fun, relaxed and a great experience. The trip to crab island is extremely quick. 10 minutes tops and they drive slow. Once they “park”, you’re able to get off and hang out. The captains are nice.

We had a really fun trip and would definitely go again. The crew was young but very knowledgeable, professional, and focused on keeping everyone safe. The confirmation email stated that children would be fitted for life jackets and would be required to wear company-issued jackets. However, when we arrived, only emergency life vests were available. I recommend bringing your own if your kids need one. The water was very shallow and my 6 year old was able to stand. We had a great time and I would go again.

Tyler and Kaden were great! We enjoyed the cruise out and our time at Crab Island. Perfect atmosphere for kiddos. The water isn't always a pretty color - it wasn't the aqua it normally is, but we still loved being out there!! If you prefer adult beverages, bring your own! They sell everything else out there! We had a super afternoon!

This is a great way to spend time in Destin! We did the trip to Crab Island with Austen and Kaden and they got us there safely and quickly. They were great at answering questions and grabbing whatever we needed from the boat while we were in the water. Lots of families on the morning excursion which was fine by us. Highly recommend!

A very friendly and affordable experience , unfortunately it did rain on our excursion so we went in early HOW EVER the captain said he would take care of us if we came back and I fully believe he would have had we not all gotten a bad sunburn and could not go back out. The experience regardless of the rain was so much fun and unique that we will be back and I really want to book for my bachelorette in the future. We will do our tequila shots captain. And I’m sorry we couldn’t make it out this Sunday like we said. We hope you remember us for next time ❤️

I don't know, the boat left us because there were no address numbers to follow and no the directions lead to several docks it was so confusing! We gotthere right at 12 but the boat was already gone we spoke to a rep. About getting at least 1/2 my money back but they would not budge in fact they wanted to charge us another 150. To come back next day! I already paid $300 and they want ANOTHER 150.00
I would not recommend this company there is no respect or negotiation on their part at all. That was my experience.

We did not get to have the experience, as customer support failed to respond to us; due to the location, we ended up running 5 to 7 minutes late. We sent messages and placed calls, but received no response. When we arrived, the boat was no longer there. If you have a group of 8 people who fail to show up, the very least you should do is make a phone call to check on them. We feel we were treated unfairly and received absolutely no support.
