After arriving at Heron Harbor, make your way down the boardwalk and locate the SunVenture Cruises kiosk. A crew member will be there to check you in and direct you to your boat. Onsite parking is owned by a 3rd party so please be cognizant of paid parking signs and instructions.

I don't know, the boat left us because there were no address numbers to follow and no the directions lead to several docks it was so confusing! We gotthere right at 12 but the boat was already gone we spoke to a rep. About getting at least 1/2 my money back but they would not budge in fact they wanted to charge us another 150. To come back next day! I already paid $300 and they want ANOTHER 150.00
I would not recommend this company there is no respect or negotiation on their part at all. That was my experience.

We did not get to have the experience, as customer support failed to respond to us; due to the location, we ended up running 5 to 7 minutes late. We sent messages and placed calls, but received no response. When we arrived, the boat was no longer there. If you have a group of 8 people who fail to show up, the very least you should do is make a phone call to check on them. We feel we were treated unfairly and received absolutely no support.

This is a big pontoon-style boat, partially shaded, with a restroom. It has long benches down each side and some benches in the middle too. It brings a bunch of people out to the sandbar for four hours. They provided a shark and tube floaties, some noodles, and a lilly pad. They played music. They parked near a bbq restaurant boat. Justin and Patrick did a great job.
It was a chill, laid back experience. You bring your own food/drinks and they have a cooler and garbages. The only downside is that the boat isn't ideal for lounging. However, you could bring floating lounge chairs and enjoy it that way, if you had them.
It was cooler and windy when we went. The kids took awhile to get in the water but then had a lot of fun! My husband and I mostly enjoyed chilling in partial shade, listening to music and not having to entertain our kids. We'd do it again.

Great experience. Fun! Diffferentbtypes of floaters that you can actually sit on would be a nice option but still fun with the big floating mat. Hosts were great and played all our music requests.

Justin was amazing and beyond accommodating! I wasn’t sure if my 13yr old would have fun but we had a BLAST! The paddle boards were SO much fun! We took a vball and played for hours with everyone else on the boat! Highly recommend doing this! Make sure to pack more drinks than you expect to drink also… they go quick😏

Absolute blast! Captain Justin and his right hand man Patrick showed us a great time and made sure to take care of each and every person on the tour. Crab Island is a remarkable experience and we had a great time we will be visiting again!

First time out to crab island and Captain Morgan and AJ were awesome!!! We really enjoyed our trip. It was relaxing as Captain Morgan and AJ would get things we needed off the boat for us, allowing a true crab island experience. We look forward to it again in the future.

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate as well as we would have liked. The trip was such a great time and the captain was absolutely amazing, energetic, very knowledgeable and a blast of fun. This is highly recommended and we will most definitely do it again.

This was my first time going to Crab Island, and I am so happy I chose SunVenture Cruises. The captain and his crew member were professional, courteous, and fun! I met a couple who said it was their fifth time coming to Crab Island, and they take this same charter every time because they appreciate the experience provided by SunVenture. The crew will help with whatever you need, like taking pictures, handing you things while you’re in the water, answering questions, etc. There is a long, flat floatation device that can fit many people if they want to get out of the water and sun themselves.
Bring a cooler with food and drinks, but you can also buy food and non-alcoholic beverages from different vendors around the island. Also bring your sunscreen!
I will definitely do this again, and I will book SunVenture Cruises when I do.

We had an incredible time on our 4-hour Crab Island excursion! From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and family-friendly. The crew was super professional, welcoming, and made sure everyone felt safe and relaxed.
Crab Island itself was absolutely stunning — shallow, crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming, lounging, and just soaking up the Florida sun. Our captain anchored us in a great spot, and we had plenty of time to float, swim, and enjoy the vibe. There were floating food vendors nearby, music playing from other boats, and even paddleboards and lily pads for the kids.
What really stood out was how stress-free everything was. We didn’t have to worry about driving, docking, or navigating — the captain handled it all. It truly let us relax and enjoy every minute.
Whether you’re visiting Destin for the first time or you’ve been here before, this excursion is 100% worth it. We’ll definitely do it again on our next trip!
