The SOLARIS Dinner Cruise is located at the Baytowne Marina within the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. After you enter the resort, follow the signs for the Baytowne Marina until you reach the designated parking lot. The SOLARIS yacht is located at the far end of the dock on the right side.

This dinner cruise was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome right away. We attended a three-hour dinner cruise that we expected to be a special evening, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a completely miserable experience — all because of where we were seated.
Despite booking as a couple, we were placed at a group table with three other couples we didn’t know, located about two feet from the check-in stand (where everyone boards) and only about five feet from the band. From the moment we sat down, it was insanely loud and extremely uncomfortable. People were constantly bumping into us as they boarded, and the music was so loud we couldn’t carry on a normal conversation. Within an hour we both had headaches, and the couple next to us actually rolled up toilet paper and stuck it in their ears just to get through the night — which says everything about how unbearable the noise level was.
I made it very clear the moment we boarded that this location was unacceptable. It was obvious we were seated in a high-traffic area right in front of the band. I asked the hostess if we could move, but was told seating was pre-assigned and nothing could be changed. Later, I spoke with the band leader, who confirmed that our table wasn’t normally placed there but had been moved to make room for large groups. I understand adjustments sometimes need to be made, but it’s unacceptable that we were the ones stuck in the worst seats on the boat because of other parties we had no control over.
We paid nearly $250 for the evening, and spent most of it either wincing through the noise or escaping upstairs for a break. But upstairs was extremely windy and so dark you couldn’t really see anything, so it wasn’t a good alternative.
The food and service were both excellent — but that didn’t make up for the miserable seating situation, the refusal to relocate us, and the lack of any effort to make it right. Had we been seated anywhere else, we might have had a lovely evening. Instead, this was one of the least enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had. I would never book this cruise again.

As mentioned on our website and in our confirmation email, the only way to guarantee a private table is to book the upgraded "Guaranteed Window Table" experience. We do see that you booked your tickets through a third party, Viator, and this vendor may not have given you that option. Due to having assigned seating on a sold out cruise, we regret that we were unable to find you a new table.

This cruise was the highlight of my vacation to Destin! I celebrated my 30 year Wedding Anniversary with my family and we loved it. Great food, music, staff and atmosphere! I’m going again soon!! Great trip. Great service from Deshea and great company with other guests on board made for a fun night.. I would do it again in a minute. Captain and crew were professional and very competent. Food was great and entertainment was wonderful. I stood on the upper deck at night with the stars above and the lights in the distance. Fantastic.

We do apologize if you experienced bad weather the night of your cruise. If it is too windy/stormy our Captain does reserve the right make the safety call on behalf of guests and have the dinner dockside or cancel the cruise all together. If we do have to remain dockside due to weather, we make sure to credit all guests 20% back from their ticket price to compensate for the lack of cruising.

The whole experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. The food was delicious and the drinks were plentiful. Derrick was our waiter and he was absolutely fantastic, he is a personable guy who seems to really enjoy his job. I would do this again in the future!

Booking over the phone with an overseas agent was a terrible experience. The amount of nickel and diming was hard to take. You down to what you thought was an all inclusive meal and they start selling you appetizers. Got the bill and did not authorize a group photo and it was added to the bill. I do not recommend this.

Your ticket price includes a 3-hour cruise, 3-course dinner, and live entertainment. Additional items such as alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and souveniers can be purchased onboard a la carte. The souvenier photo is not added to your bill automatically, but instead you are given the opportunity to purchase the photo if you would like.

The greeting and welcome from the caption, crew and live band. I was celebrating my birthday (gift to myself) and I wouldn’t change it. My mom is now trying to get her high school graduating class to do it. Awesome! I felt comfortable and safe.
