This was a first time experience. It was amazing. The customer service was excellent. They answered all questions with grace and understanding. Our captain, Mike was awesome. The drive over to Crab Island was smooth and amazing. He made sure we got the full Crab Island experience. Definitely will be coming back.

The captain was friendly and ensure we all knew the rules. Did not have enough floats for all. Only 2 available. I also did not appreciate being charged a fee for a tip prior to boarding. Plus there was tax on the tip. I thought the purpose of a tip is based on what you can afford and service

I booked a tiki boat excursion through Viator with Tailfins Destin, and if I could give negative stars, I would.
There is a strict “no refund within 24 hours” policy unless they cancel—but what’s concerning is they clearly do not prioritize customer safety. I called the location three times the morning of (4/6/2026) due to poor weather conditions that did not match the advertised sandbar/swimming experience. Each time, I was told they were going out regardless and if we didn’t show, we’d lose our money.
We drove over an hour (which I had explained when calling), only to arrive and be told plans were changing. Initially, we were assigned one boat, then suddenly redirected to another because “others were canceled”.. yet no refund option was offered. We even had different colored wristbands showing separate bookings.
Once on the water, conditions were rough and clearly not suitable for the type of excursion advertised. They had room within capacity limits, but safety was clearly not the priority.. they had a third family transfer from one tiki boat to ours mid-outing and then immediately sent the other boat back to base.
At that point, it was obvious the goal was to consolidate groups rather than ensure a safe or enjoyable experience for passengers or the captain. One family asked to return early after about an hour, and we ended up going back before the excursion was even over.
No apologies. No accountability. No refund. No attempt to make it right.
And to top it all off, after everything, we were stuck in traffic for a two-hour drive back home, making an already frustrating experience even worse.
This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had, completely unprofessional and concerning from a safety standpoint. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this excursion.

Ryan was our boat captain. He was awesome! The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun. I almost cancelled due to it not being HOT but it was my husbands 60th so we went with it and had a great time. The water was cool at first but was fine in the sun!

Lovely sisters’ trip and boat ride with Captain Cameron. He took us on a great tour of the Harbour and we saw a number of dolphins. Great music playing throughout the day! Highly recommend the tiki boat ride!

I booked this for a Bachelorette and we had a great experience! Captain Cameron was perfect for our wild group & the other staff were fun and friendly as well.
We did not know that others could book our same tikiboat however, we had a great time with the couple that was with us :)

So much fun. Booked the say before and so glad that I did. Crab Island was amazing and our captain was great. He asked what we wanted to hear for music and made sure we had what we wanted and needed.

Definitely something adults should experience. A traveling tiki boat!! Chairs were comfortable!! They had a restroom on board, place to put your alcohol, if you drink, floaties and a ladder that is easy to climb. Music was awesome and the Capt was friendly. Helis instructions were well articulated and he catered to those who were in the ocean making sure when they asked for their specific drink, he got it for them. Kurt was amazing to say the least. He made sure everyone was safe and had a great time.

I’ve had better experiences on other tiki boats. Boat left late, the captain only greeted certain individuals, and the music. However, the Jamaican guy who helped with the check in process was very welcoming! He made sure we had everything we needed and reassured us we were going to enjoy our experience.

We had a great time on the tiki boats, we seen dolphins on the way to crab island. Captain Cam was very knowledgeable, funny, and made sure we had great music and anchored in a great spot. I do recommend going when it it warmer outside as well. Zach, the bartender at the dock made a really nice drink for us (a bucket situation). 10/10 recommend and we will be back also!

It was amazing. Captain Al was the absolute best. So kind, funny, informative, and helpful!!! Did not want it to end!!! So neat that there were vendors selling food and tshirts on the water. Thanks Steve for the daiquiris!!! Will definitely do this again!!!!
