Our guide was excellent—friendly and safety-focused. We stopped at four incredible vantage points including a dry creek bed, forested trails, and high valley overlooks with stunning views of the Alaska Range. The terrain was a fantastic mix of hills, mud, rocks and open scenic stretches. Highly recommend this for scenic value, fun pace, and great staff.

ATV Adventure A Lot of Fun

Daniel_B, Aug 2025
The Denali ATV Activity was a lot of fun. It provided a great way to see parts of the Denali State Park that you might not experience otherwise.

3.5 hr backcountry trip

Lisa_G, Aug 2025
This was a great experience! We went on a 3.5 hr trip, our guides “Goober “ and Kay were great! You will get muddy and possibly a little wet but absolutely worth it.

Fun Experience

If you are into bone...

Ralph_E, Jul 2025
If you are into bone jarring and dusty ATV rides this is for you. If not don’t do it. However the tour guides were well informed and helpful. The only other issue we had was that one of our grandchildren got violently sick the night before and could not go on the tour. We understood the cancellation policy however we tried to work through both Viator and the operator to cancel two of reservations. Both seemed amenable to it but they kept pointing the finger at the other stonewalling and we ended up having to pay for two unused reservations. Was not. Our favorite tour in Denali.

Fun ride, 18 year old son-approved

MICHELLE_A, Jul 2025
Great time with grown son. We have 4-wheelers so this was a little tame comparatively, but not so tame we were bored. Would still recommend to those with 4-wheelers, wouldn't recommend booking the side by sides if you want any adventure, as an adult that is.

Awesome experience !

Mark_S, Jul 2025
Awesome experience being able to drive an ATV at the base of Denali . Highly recommend this for anyone seeking adventure

Back country ATV tour

Bernard_M, Jun 2025
The ATV ride is along 10 or so miles of back country trails in rough condition, but very passable. You get great views and make 3 stops along the way. My favorite was the one in the river bed by a huge lateral glacial moraine where they showed us about the different rocks in the stream. The trails can be dusty if it is dry so may consider using a mask or neck gaiter to cover your mouth and nose. It was a great ride and worth the time and effort.

Great ride on the outskirts of Denali

Miranda_B, Jun 2025
The ride was great and the guides were so knowledgeable about the area. They make a few stops for pictures and to tell you about the area and then you load up again. It was VERY dusty so be prepared for that.

A great experience

Will_J, Jun 2025
In addition to a really fun ride. The experience is made better by the guides sharing interesting information about nature, geology, and the area.

Matan_S, May 2025
The guides were excellent very informative and nice. The track was nice , not too difficult a little bit short. If you never ride this kind of tools before it's a good start

Fast paced and exciting

Robert_M, Sep 2024
The ride was exciting. I was expecting a slow, leisurely pace. It was fast paced and on really back country trails, with lots of potholes and mud puddles. The terrain was beautiful. We had a little rain and some strong winds near the end of the ride, but no one seemed to care

A Denali Trip Highlight

Luke_A, Sep 2024
This is a must do if you are traveling through Denial! Can’t say enough great things about the staff that works here. Very knowledgeable and great personality’s! Whether you are experienced or not you will have a blast out on the trails with these guys/ladies!

Fun and challenging…in a good way

Greg_G, Aug 2024
I’ve only driven an ATV once before, so take this with a grain of salt. Still I like (pretend) to believe I’m athletic and coordinated. This tour was a blast, and extremely challenging. The mostly narrow trails, traveling up and down hills, had an enormous amount of holes and debris making this incredibly and surprisingly bumpy, in a good way. There are also some wide open areas such as where a glacier tore through, and lots of rides through water. Scenery was also gorgeous. Dress warmly even in August, the winds extremely strong in some areas. Our guides, “Boots” and “Sharky,” were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, Boots quite personable.

Fun trip, great guides

Jerry_M, Aug 2024
Abby & Clayton were excellent tour guides. We saw a lot of Alaska behind the screens and the ATV riding was so much fun. We had a side by side unit and got to do a lot of challenging terrain. More fun than I expected.

Action packed ATV...

Jim_E, Aug 2024
Action packed ATV adventure. Great vehicles and guides. Focus on safety.trauma were challenging with a variety of terrain. Guides were informative and interacted with guests. Lots of fun!!

Everything we expected

Bonnie_B, Aug 2024
Guide kept things very organized Stops along the trail added informative info Shuttle from resort was timely and along the way liked the added descriptions about what we were passing

Mud, puddles and huge smiles

Robert_M, Aug 2024
Great time overall. It had rained for 2 days so mud and puddles were everywhere. We were booked on arc’s but switched when we got there to buggies to avoid getting completely drenched. Guides Abbie “aka Skeeter” and Boots were absolutely excellent. My wife said it was the best thing she had done. The riverbed area was just a blast.

Splashing through puddles

Andrea_T, Aug 2024
We had a great time with our guides Sharkie and Thor. It was a wet day so we had fun driving through deep puddles. Stayed dry with a bit of mud in side by side. Great way to see additional terrain. Would recommend!

great adventure for everyone, young and old

Pam_K, Aug 2024
The 3 1/2 hour STV ride was just perfect! They led us through river beds, through the forest and up the mountains to magical overlooks. The staff was fun, professional and very knowledgeable about the area and local plants. You will get wet and muddy... but isn't that part of the fun?!

Great adventure at Denali!

Thomas_J, Aug 2024
Enjoyed local history and views of the area! Guides Thor and Sparky were great and kept all of us together while keeping a comfortable pace.

Great adventure

GregoryS_C, Jul 2024
Overall, our family of 4 had a great time driving 2 side-by-sides for the 3.5 hour adventure. The guides were great and we had a bunch if fun.

Loads of fun!!!

Teresa_R, Jul 2024
Lots of fun and we loved our guides tator tot and dirt mouth! Loads of fun and very educational about the area and the plants and rocks.

Great excursion!

Carol_R, Jun 2024
We really enjoyed Skeeter and Moss as our guides. They kept the tour going, provided lots of information and kept us safe! A little less dust would have been nice but the trip overall was lots of fun with beautiful scenery!

Great alternative to boring bus rides

Edward_R, Jun 2024
A great way to experience Denali. Great trails and views. We rode double. Both my wife and I enjoyed driving the ATV.

Great tour of the area and pointing out landmarks!

Ernest_F, May 2024
We had a fun day with the 2 guides! Great views up and down the hills and through the water in some areas. You will get dirty but that’s all part of the experience!

#1 best tour in Denali

Larry_R, Sep 2023
Absolutely the best excursion in Denali. Fun, exhilarating, side-by-sides or ATVs (your choice) in natural settings between the boundaries of Denali National Park. Beautiful Vistas and stops at overlooks with amazing views. Knowledgeable guides with great personality and customer service. Thor was super fun. We were there for our 50th anniversary on September 7th. Rode through beautiful fall colors, down through creeks, mud and rocks. Saw a mother moose and her calf about 50ft from our trail. Went by an archeological dig site and an amazing marine left by a glacier that looked like a massive sand castle. Our 46 yr old son was with us. We all had a fantastic and memorable time. One family had 2 young sons around 6 yrs old with them and they had a blast. This is a great tour with an entire team of staff from the shuttle drivers to the safety instructors and field guides are very conscientious of your safety and ensure you have a great time. I recommend families and friends put this tour on their must do list while in Denali. It was an anniversary adventure to remember.

A wonderful experience and must do in Denali National park

Cynthia_B, Sep 2023
This was the absolute highlight of our Denali National park experience. We were able to explore and see so much of the mountains and the views were breath taking. Our guides were knowledgeable and informative. They made the riding experience so much fun. Highly recommend!!!

A great way to enjoy the outdoors in Alaska.

Charles_M, Aug 2023
We very much enjoyed our ATV Tour. The machines were more than up to the challenge of Alaska’s rugged terrain and the guides were able to find every mud puddle and stream to enhance our adventure.
